The whole world was not prepared and has no answers on how to contain the three meltdowns.

I believe the fuel rods were bent during the shaking which prevented them from shutting down as planned, you cant shut down the fusion process if the rods cant be lowered into there casings. Should be a wake up call to all nuke facilities...

IMO there are other unknown factors instruments aren't detecting that are bad to the human health besides the obvious radiation, IE can it effect the ions, atoms, ozone, nitrogen, oxygen, not to mention just downright bad vibes.. I think about that more than the radiation. Time always tells... on us :)

from the blog story; "The attempted cover up of the severity of the Fukushima disaster is nothing new.Gov ernments have been covering up nuclear meltdowns for 50 years, and the basic design for nuclear reactors was not chosen for safety, but because it worked onNavy submarines ... and produced plutonium for the military.

(Indeed, the government's response to every crisis appears to be to try to cover it up; and see this.)

Finally, I've previously noted that the amount of radioactive fuel at Fukushimadwarfs Chernyobyl.

Arnie Gundersen has said that Fukushima is the worst industrial accident in history, and has 20 times more radiation than Chernobyl."

Japan should be more honest in handling the disaster. Japanese officials had withheld a lot of information to fool people inside and outside Japan.

It was also stupid to reject American assistance when USA offered help as soon as the problem occurred.

Really, in which way it is worse than the Bhopal accident? Or the Vajont Dam accident? Or the Deepwell Horizon accident of 2010?
.
That's a lot of high-fallutin' talk about an incident that still has to claim either its first civilian victim and its first radiation poisoning victim.
