"China's foreign ministry said in a statement Monday that Beijing had expressed opposition to Japan's move in which it "treated a representative from Taiwan the same as diplomatic envoys and members of international institutions."

The person responsible for this statement should be fired stat!

Firstly and foremost this kind of idiotic thinking will not only hurt the Japanese people but also the Taiwanese.

Secondly, making Taiwan an excuse for not attending the ceremony gives a cowardly picture of a China that is afraid to say point blank that it's because of the Tiauyutai issue.

For Japan's part please don't pretend to be hurt by China's snub.

Judging from PM Abe's many statements one of which is insisting that there is no territorial dispute regarding the Tiauyutai and that Japan will go to war defending the isles then this 'bein hurt' rhetoric sounds and looks silly .

Since when does a country preparing to go to war say it's hurt cause the other bloody country didn't attend your Tsunami memorial?

If you're preparin for war with China then it's silly pretending to be hurt by your protagonist's absence.

It's as if bloody war itself is less hurtin than China's snub mate!

The guy responsible for this statement should also be fired stat!
