Canada isn't a real country anyway. 35% of Canadians polled believe that by the year 2025 Canada will cease to exist as a sovereign country and will be absorbed by the U.S.(fact). They are simply moving in ahead of schedule and 'hedging their bets'. As far as the Japanese go...whatever....the Japanese have been making their first stop on their highly organized tours the local Wal-Marts and K-Marts for yearrrrrssssssss...any Kaimaina can tell you that.
life goes on....

Bob, you spell like a native of Brazil, not Hawaii. "Kaimaina"? Try "kamaaina" next time, lower case "k". Also, Wal-Marts are a relatively recent development here. Our habit of treating tourists, especially Japanese ones, like cash cows waiting to be milked goes back decades. As long as we see our education system -- primary, secondary, and higher -- as nothing more than a factory to train tourist industry service workers, our reliance on the tourist herd will never change. We could start by teaching people how to spell, and that it's important!

Re: "Canada is not a real country anyway" lol what is it with people, jealousy, stupidity,
Canada will never ever be annexed, purchased or taken over by the USA, it is beyond stupidity for people to assume or even think that this might happen, let alone putting it in writing, Mr. Mckenzie please stop...making yourself look like an idiot. Canadians do love Hawaii, and I am fairly confident Hawaiians are happy with Canadians.

As our economy continues to strengthen, expect the numbers of people travelling to Hawaii from Alberta to grow even more. Heck, my tax return this year is going towards my first Hawaii vacation this Christmas.

Daily Horoscope for March 21

Cancer

The day may start off with a bang as friends and associates continue to call, but by evening you're ready to spend some time alone. The changing Moon enters your twelfth house of secrets and solitude this evening, urging you to spend a quiet night recharging your spiritual batteries. If you must attend a social function, you may find it is easier to listen to others than to say much yourself.
