These are the same people that hear over and over again how bad turbulence is going to be and yet they get up to go to the bathroom, put their luggage away, get up and stretch and walk around, decide it's a good time to check out the complete interior design of a Boeing/Airbus. They're also the same people that unbuckle the second the plane touches the ground. I was once on an active taxi and our plane had to come to a sudden stop, sending the entire plane jerking hard.. No one was hurt, but that's why you have to stay buckled until the seatbelt sign if off.. Seriously, people don't realize that pilots know what they're doing, and there is a reason for the seatbelt signs. Listen to your crews when you fly - your life will be easier!!!!

I have flown into Narita (sp?) several times and its notorious for its horrible turbulance. I kept my belt as tight as possible. Not too bright to take it off on this flight especially, but any flight in general is a bad idea.

Injuries in such situations are increased when passengers not buckled down fly through the air and onto other passenger's heads who ARE buckled down. Ouch!

That's it Mary. NWA never should have let those mechanics go on strike. Or do you think Anderson caused the turbulence?

You could have just said "notice how MARY/STEVE/CHUCK/GEORGE/SUE/ET C ETC ETC are all the same ones."

Or just ignore the posts like most people do.

Notice how the ones that reply (like you and ong)are the same ones who over and over and over have to belittle others then tell them to get over it......and btw are clueless when doing so!

Stay buckled when in your seat and you won't get bounced off the top of the plane.
