I wish they would do a mandatory evacuation of military families. My brother is there with 3 small children and he is waiting to send them until it is necessary.

These nuclear screw ups are a good thing. It is opening the eyes of the general populace to the all too close profit-driven relationship between companies and governments. Both are culpable for the agonizingly horrible deaths that are guaranteed to occur as a direct and indirect result of this mess for decades to come.

Now we get to watch the sleazy leadership of these companies and governments crab walk away from taking responsibility for what they have wrought for nothing less than their obscene greed.

Something is up. This isn't getting the news attention it deserves and should have. I read where US sailors are getting tumors who participated in aid/relief after the disaster. Also the Japanese are apparently using homeless for clean up. 2 years later this isn't even under control yet.

What does Japan hold over the US? Seems to be kid gloves here. What is the US connection besides GE selling them the reactors?

Written by a person using electricity that was more than likely produced from a nuclear reactor.

How about the dumba$$ US government official who thought it was a good idea to send one of our carriers through a radiation cloud. How come no one has questioned that move?
Was it the ship's commander or did the order come from higher up in DC?
