Chrysler will be out of buisness before we ever see this car. They have not even started working on a new mid sized car yet. It will take 4 to 5 years from start to finish to develop one. Sorry but Chrysler is just about toast.

“We have to be absolutely clear about what we want to do with Chrysler and, as a management team, where the organization is going to be in five years,” Mr. Marchionne said.“We will share significant milestones, numbers, and we will show how we’re going to come out of this. This is a big issue and we’re working really hard.”

Did you read in the article where they mention Chrysler might be out of money in 24 months? That's two years.

Yes, I read that but don't you think after 2 years Fiat would put invest? It's the only way they would get their products into the USA. Easy for Fiat to say right now they don't PLAN to, but after 2 years I'm sure they would. Otherwise why would he have a 5 year plan.

Thats what the old leaders kept on telling everyone," We are meeting and exceeding our goals", they guys just say anything to keep you guys happy then they reveal their true motives, the mini cooper only sells 12,000 a year and the 500 needs to sell alot more to make a profit, the American people are not going to buy Obamas little car, start looking for another job.

The landscape is littered with "5 year plans". Mercedes starved Chrysler on the vine, what makes you think Fiat will be any different? I'm not saying they won't, I'm just skeptical, that's all.

There are no guarantees but those that are staying must have hope and faith in the New Company. Whatever will be, will be. But there really isn't a lot of good paying jobs out there so it's still the best we got. Life has no guarantees, unfortunately.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Gemini

Mercury will backtrack through your finances over the next few weeks, which isn't a very seasonal thought if you're already well aware that you've overspent this month. Be prepared to do some juggling or to seek expert advice if you're worried about how you're going to cope. You may be kept busy handling inheritance, tax or insurance matters, preparing investment analysis, and allocating funds for the repayment or collection of debts.
