I remember standing on the corner of L.W.E. and 2nd St. in front of Spangler's Drug Store we were all watching the old Troop "E" National Guard marching out Lincon Way to the railroad station to board the train to take them to a camp. Buss Remmel and Harry McNew were two of the officers and maybe Paul was among that group on their way to war. When I look back now I realize they were just kids going to do a man's job. What a sacrifice they all made and we are too soon to forget.Kudos to you Paul...
thank you

Thank you for all you and your buddies have done. All of you are so often forgotten. Because of you, my children get to live life to the fullest, and enjoy a great education in our free country.

The bible says there is no greater friend than he that will lay down his life for another. You went to war so that i could be born. Thank you, to me you are not just a friend but you are my hero. I know that you don't know me but just knowing what you went through for America is enough for me to say you are my friend. You are a true hero. I wish you all the best in your future.

To the jerk giving the derogatory ratings,*I* gave each a "judge" of Helpful, touching, and agree to every post, and I bet there's enough of us who APPRECIATE those who sacrificed for us that we can negate your idiotic, babyish little hatings. Everyone give the thankful posts positive ratings to defeat the buffoon, please.
