Former Miss Kauai killed in stabbing at Indiana home - Hawaii News

Eleven days before she planned to move back home, former Miss Kauai Angela Warnock was stabbed to death in front of her 8- and 12-year-old daughters in Indiana, her brother said yesterday.

I do hope the family is able to bring the two girls home to Kauai and is able to fulfill their mother's dream of raising the girls on Kauai.

Personally, I know a lot of women that grew up in Hawaii, met someone from the continent got married and later divorced. Luckily, the relationships did not end in violence.

Sometimes the boring local guy might be better in the long run than the charming guy from the continent.

I agree with you to a certain degree, however, it's quite obvious and noticeable that alot of people (not all) you define as "local" drink extraordinary amounts of alcohol and do more illegal drugs than "charming guys from the mainland" and appear to abuse their women and children far more often.

God bless her... but I don't think Kauai was her home... so I question the "move back home" thing. I read somewhere that she was from Indiana and went to Kauai to run in the pageant. Some of the language in the article seems misleading. But again, God bless her and her kids because no one deserves this... not matter where their real home is.

We really don't know what went on between the husband and wife, but in any case murder is never justifiable. Who I really feel sad for are the children who have to go through this and am glad that they are okay.
