Navy: Shellfish from street vendors in Italy may be bad
U.S. Navy officials are warning shoppers not to buy shellfish from street vendors or door-to-door sellers after Italian officials linked cases of Hepatitis A in the Caserta province to the unregulated vendors.

I caught on that I might not want to buy Mussels on the side of the road considering they were being sold, unrefrigerated, in the hot sun next to a garbage pile. Hepatitis A - big surprise.
