This is a special thanks to the manager, Ida! We always get a warm welcome and treated so special. My dad's 80th birthday was a great success... thanks to you! And, of course, Pasquale too!!

I have recently tried Piazza Margharita. From the moment we walked through the door Ida made us feel like one of the family. THat same feeling was carried through by our waiter and Pasquale. The food is unbelievably good. My mother who was in the restaurant business for over 50 years raved about the food and the service, this coming from her is huge. If you hear complaints, I can only believe that it is personnal.

How dare someone make such a negative comment
and claim that they are from Naples. If they
had any idea they would realize that the food is very authentic and very few places can give the
quality of a meal like mamma Annamaria made it and make you feel like you are in her home. Its that kind of place. This website is for food critic purposes.Leave your poor quality comments to yourself and say something constuctive so others
can here a truthful opinion. A man who knows
his woman,wine,and food very well>
See for yoursel why Piazza Margerita will one day
win a national title in restaurant greatness.
Ciao tutti!!!!!!!!!!

Hey this place sucks! I tried their lasagna. Unfortunately, my experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Literally. Maybe I should have tried something more simple (like spaghetti with meatballs). I'm very disappointed.

I read the positive reviews on here prior to going. The majority of reviewers must be friends or family of the owners. I do not know them personally or any of the other reviewers. Calamari was chewy and bland. Another table ordered it after us and you could smell it from across the room. My entree was so salty I had to send it back. That is, 20 mins later, once I flagged down our waiter. He asked if I wanted anything else, I declined. Neither mgr,or chef came out to apologize. If fact, seemed as if we were avoided. We had to ask another waiter for our check bc again, our waiter didn't not return to us. There are many great italian restaurants in the area. No need to return to Piazza.

I don't know if you people were drunk or not when you ate here, but I am a real Italian and the food here is horrendous. Anyone who has given this place a good review must be either a family member or a friend. Don't waste your money.

Hey this place sucks! I tried their lasagna. Unfortunately, my experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Literally. Maybe I should have tried something more simple (like pizza). I'm very disappointed. In addition, this place is filthy! Someone should really call the health department to look this hole over. Anyone who eats food prepared at this $hithole deserves whatever disease they get. The place is filled with diseased Albanian refugees who are poorly treated, even abused.

The food was bland and needed seasoning, the atmosphere okay. There were five of us with five different appetizers, five different entrees. Appetizers had absolutely no taste. Entree's the same, bread average, the oil and seasoning they give you with the bread average. The worst thing, serving a Chicken Francaise dish that had RAW chicken. The sauce here was the only thing that was correct in seasoning and taste, however again raw chicken. They did try to make it right, gave us free desserts for the table and coffee. There is no quality control here, Nick the Chef at Queen Margherita in Nutley needs to come over here clean house and cook.
