When Ahmadinajad said “sanctions will not work” he actually related to his nuclear WMDs plan which is doomed because the Iranian treasury is "empty" and does not have the money to pay the Russians for the Bush-her nuclear plant and for nuclear fuel.
The UN sanctions that started before the end of 2006 are accumulating their damages to the Iranian economy and to the isolation of the Iranian financial institutions.
The reduction in the oil revenues due to the drop in the OPEC oil price caused major problems to Ahmadinajad that spent billions of the dollars of the Iranian people on financing and re-arming of the Islamic terrorists in Iraq and all over the Middle East.
The destruction in Lebanon and to the Hezbollah Islamic terrorists’ posts and munitions during the war in July 2006 cost the Iranian people lots of money that was paid for the rebuilding of Lebanon and for the re-arming Hezbollah with new Russian missiles.
The new package of sanctions that is ready to be approved by the UN Security Council include embargo on arms exports and an asset freeze on more individuals and companies linked to the Iranian nuclear and missile programs.
The Iranian people are sick and tired from Ahmadinajad that threw away their money like a drunken sailor to spread Islam by the sword all over the Middle East with nuclear WMDs threats.

This guys been running his mouth off ever since he came to power. He gets loads of attention and stirs people up but actually accomplishes very little while the Iranian economy suffers. He's just trying to distract the Iranian people by picking fights with the west. The Mullahs run the country anyway so he's pretty much irrelevant.

The best thing we can do for that beady-eyed rat Ahmanindinejad is to drop a million translated military history books of the United States on Tehran. That pinhead terrier currently has no idea of what he is is barking at. Once we get started, it could take a whole month to level the sand burgs. We'll figure out the oil thing later with the ususal rebuild ploy and confusion.

So what , Iran will end up like a steak left on the grill for 2 hours.

The USA has ICBMs , nuclear bombs , nuclear cruise missiles air launch , nuclear missiles submarine launch , And enough conventional weapons to blow Iran to mars.

The god father of soul , the late great James Brown said it best ; Static , don't start none wont be none.

I remember when Clint Eastwood said to the child president of Iran , do you feel lucky punk?

How old was this guy when those little bastards in Iran were burning the US flag for US News cameras? Iran youth learned to play the media a long time ago and now they run the place. Someone call Jimmy Carter to make him stop.

If you listen to this guy, you should get out your down vest, spark up the wood burning stove and watch some Mork and Mindy reruns.

I mean, who is he doing this for, Iran, or Boeing and Exxon? I'll bet on Boeing and Exxon-- give me 1000 shares for each, because when the horseshit clears, the west will send him and his crackpot army back to 1950.
