I would certainly hope that Obama was NOT surprised at the rebuff.

Obama is an idiot and a liar, and The Supreme Leader knows it. What a stupid move O made here. One of many, many more to come.

Ahmadinejad is not our friend. He has led numerous "Death to America Rallies". He has stated on countless occasions that he has no desire for peace with the US. He stood before the UN and told them their sanctions are worthless and he will not abide by them. He intends to have nuclear weapons and I believe, intends to use them, either as blackmail, or overtly. His goal is the same a Hamas'...you can talk to your blue in the face...it is a struggle to the death. We sit idly by, hoping against hope that he will have a change of heart and ignoring his promises.

What move was that? What would you have done differently?

Trying to "reach out" to these nations. They don't want that. Obama has no grasp of reality at home, or abroad.

Who said anything about Ahmadinejad? It was their equivalent of Billy Graham that said that.

"They chant the slogan of change but no change is seen in practice. We haven't seen any change," Khamenei said...
Sounds a little like you Kevin...

So what's osamabama to do now? Start changing America to Iran's specifications? Don't be surprised if that's what he tries to do. This dope is so clearly in over his head. It would be funny to watch him continue to make a fool of himself if it weren't for the fact that he is destroying America in the process.

My response in post #6 had to do with the "Death to America" bit, usually lead by Ahmadinejad. I have been told repeatedly that Ahmadinejad's stance is 180 degrees from the thinking of ruling clerics. Evidently not! My point was to show they think as one. Sorry we misunderstood each other.

Of course they think alike. I mean, does Obama really think that he can "reach out" to these people? Does he really think he is the first one to have that thought? Does he really think there are moderate thinkers over there? Like I said, he is naive.
