well, well. turns out turkey (our supposed ally through nato) is allied with syria, iran, and al qeada. their links to these terrorists and supporters of terrorists have just become more and more visible as the month wears on.
time to kick turkey out of nato.

I would wait until after the Turkish elections. I don't think the Turkish people want to be allied with syria, iran, and al qaeda.

It is a possibility especially when one recalls the Iranian offer to turn over those members of AlQueda to the US just prior to the US invasion of Afganistan. George Bush rejected the offer and instead gave them the Axis of Evil speech.

The Debka news agency in the article above has no connection at all to the official Israel intelligence service, Mossad. Debka gets all it's information from rumors and hearsay.

following the news. i'm not going to feed you a bunch of links. you can just run a google search with the terms turkey syria and iran in it and see what you turn up.
the al qeada links are through both IHH, which tried to overthrow the previous secular turkish goverment with force of arms and is now a close ally of the religious turkish government (which is only just barely pretending to be secular), and through iran, who is harboring the senior leadership of al qeada and likely providing money and assistance to them as well.
just do some reading on the topic, you'll find plenty of info, and the deeper you dig, the worse it gets.

Israeli terrorists and propagandists must be getting desperate and are depending on the ignorance of Americans (of course, there is a lot of that...).

The Iranians are almost entirely Shia, while bin Laden and the Taliban are Sunni muslims. It was Iran which gave the US intelligence on the Taliban to help overthrow them, because they hate the Taliban and Al Qaeda as much as the US does.

WHY would Iran help a group that would as willingly use weapons against Iran as against the US?

It must have someting to do with beating war drums, to falsely "justify" invading Iran, just as Iraq was invaded under false pretenses.

Sadly, a global confrontation with muslims is here. We've been swatting them away for years and have only emboldened them. Jimmy Carter started it by leaving the hostages in Iran for over a year. We are partly to blame too. Mixed messages from govts all over the world regarding burqas hasn't helped. I think our PC lamestream media is the chief culprit. While they seem to be quick at pointing out the West's shortcomings they fail regularly to expose the violent actions like this attempt to break the blockade masquerading as a peace mission. I don't doubt the people of muslim world care about the palestinians, but it's clear they despise the Israeli's far more. Armageddon is a hill in the Bekaa valley, and it's right around the corner unless our leaders wise up. Start by bombing the Iranian nuke sites immediately.

the iranians aren't shielding the taliban, they're shielding al qeada. the taliban is a religious organization with political objectives, al qeada is a political organization (or wishes it was) that uses religion as a tool to control people. anyone that's ever paid any great attention to the rantings of senior al qeada members could tell you that they are barely able to communicate in religious terms. they are just islamist socialist politcal hacks.

as to why iran would help al qeada, i'll give you a few quotes;
"the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

"fear makes for strange bedfellows."

the fact that al qeada isn't a religious organization makes them that much easier for iran to work with them.

it will be interesting to see. from here it seems like turkey has turned in an islamist direction even moreso than in their last elections. but, i haven't been to turkey in awhile, so i don't have a good feel for it anymore. it would be very nice to see an islamist tone rejected by muslim voters for once. if any nation has the tradition to replace islamists with secularists, it would be turkey... we'll see.(i'm not holding my breath, though)
