"In the name of God," said the form we had to fill in to get a press card. Was it "in the name of God" that we had to shroud ourselves in loose clothes and headscarves, the minute our plane landed on Iranian soil? Was it "in the name of God" that nearly all the women we saw, as we crawled through the rush-hour traffic from Tehran airport, were ...

For all its (government) faults one thing that cannot be denied is that Esfahan and Shiraz are extraordinarily beautiful cities. Incredible history and amazing culture.

They would be even more beautiful if the people were free to enjoy their environment rather than fear for their lives should they dare to want freedom from oppression.'You want freedom ..you must die' Ahmadinejad and his mullah mates .. what a gang of cut throats!

Hafiz Shirazi, Sheikh Saadi can make even Shakespear look pale.

Their poetry was inspired with the sights of sweet Persianas.

History's first sole super power was so rich even at that time(2300-3000 years ago) that it took 35000 horses and mules by Alexander the Great to carry gold, silver and other valuables with him to Greece.

That happened only when the Persian Empire time expired.America's time is now in the process of retiring directional like the other four sole super powers of the past like Brits, Ottomans, Romans.

britts should give it back. It does not belong to them. But britain it was always country of global robbers, criminals, genocides and it is the same state of things till now there. They have practically no culture. The only living artefacts and weirdoes are their queen, king and the rest of this family of parasites who make nothing but live very good from taxes.

haha ..a lost cause! I dont think so because you uninteresting the internet nursery rhyme baby keep coming back to spread your poison and belittle yourself with childish comments.
Your immaturity and inability to debate in an acceptable manner and to keep a civil tongue in your head brings shame on you and your family. Traitor to Pakistan, traitor to the west who gave you succour and an embarrassment to your own family.
