Open elections would see the end of Ahmadinejad. That would give the people a chance of a better future . . .can't see it happening.

What kind of elections have they? They have open and democratical elections. And naturally that the next president must be such good, intelligent, not corrupt just like this current Iranian president. It gets about about 70 mln of people.

To be democratic, elections need to be transparent ...the last Iranian election was not.
How did they announce the result before there was time to count all the votes? Why has the leader of the opposition (and his family) been persecuted. Mehdi Karroub should be allowed to offer an alternative view. If Iran was democratic this would be allowed.
In a real democracy the people are allowed to demonstrate freely. In Iran any demonstration is attacked by security forces. What are they afraid of ... surely not freedom! True democracies embrace freedom of expression and equality. Let's talk about the Iranian sickness - oppression of women!
Iran is not democratic. Ahmadinejad is Corrupt.

Well if you hew anything about the Iranian system then you would have known that this is the last term of Ahmadinejad regardless he can not serve more than two terms back to back,
so again your argument is on false presumptions.

As you know, Ahmadinejad clones are waiting in the wings to take over and continue to keep the evil mullahs in their undeservedly elevated position. This will again mean that the people will continue to face oppression and violence.
Where are the false presumptions Kam?
Is it false that women are oppressed and maltreated?
Is it false that there are question marks over the validity of the last election?
Is it false that the authorities use violence and oppressive measures to quash the peoples desire for greater freedom?
Is it false that the opposition leader and his family have been persecuted?
Talk about the real issues Kam.
You sound like a brain washed product of the Iranian system trying to defend the indefensible.
