Ya and Hamas has put more technology in the rocket reaching so much further....precisely when should Israel now decide this is far enough!

All humans has a natural instinct to defend.... I am a peace loving individual, but put me in a situation where I get poked all the time putting my family in danger surely I have an obligation and right to defend.

Hamas intentions are not for mere attention, they are known to use their family as scape goats to further their cause.... Putting children and brain washed family in mobile bombs packs to further their hate cause!

Don't be fooled by a seemingly weak Palestine front.....This is how they operate between children and family they will aggravate to a point of unbearable tolerances!!

Islam has no tolerance for anything outside its religious doors....only war and hate!!

How many times has America signed truces with Islam and got back stabbed.... Israel is the proof that their is no way a fighting dog just goes and lies down!

You are right, we have to do everything in our power to promote peace and see a people group respected.....but their belief system has a dagger always ready to back stab!

I agree with you john. I wrote a similar opinion in a previous forum. Honestly, this war will never end until we americans and our goverment stop supporting the jews of the middle east.
The land was given to them out of pity because of ww11 atrocities, which we will never forget, but what are the jews doing now? I think its genicide. I'm embarrassed to be an american when we support thugs.

I support Israel 100%. They have every right to protect their citizens and their borders. And, admirably, they don't answer to anyone but themselves.

lest anyone forget israel was created by usurping a previously settled land and driving the palestinians out. both sides have committed numerous atrocities.

that said i agree in part with some earlier posts saying that one of big reasons terrorists hate the united states is because we blindly support israel.

to w sims mom: ok, they have that right, but what about the palestinians whose land was stripped away from underneath them over 60 years ago? did they have a right to defend it? and more importantly, do they not have a right to reclaim what was taken?

also LOL @ someone using wikipedia for a reference source.

To John; When you weep over America's support of Israel and cite Europe and Russia as example, does it strike that America has been more successful than all of them? Why do you want to learn from failure when others want to learn from you? You may think the Arab world hates America because of Israel, why do they hate other free countries? Can it then be said you support killing of all Israeli's? This translates from the fact that the group you want America to support openly declare how they want to wipe out Israel from the Map.
If you have fairness in you, you should provide a solution instead. It is only a tree that you will point at and say I will cut you down by tomorrow and come tomorrow, you still meet it there. Tell me you will go to sleep, If I come to stand by your window with a microphone, an Ak47 telling you that I am coming to shoot you.

We all wish conflicts could be resolved at the negotating table. Some can, some can't. Israel's can't. Time after time negotating fails. It is horrible and brutal but in the long run fewer people will die if Israel goes in to the populated areas of Gaza 100% and kill who needs killing. This will at least allow the remaining people to live in peace and prosper. What is important is 100% elimination of Hamas. I repeat 100%. Do it thouroughly and only once. Then rely upon spies to locate any stirrings of Hamas. Carry a big stick and fewer people die.

Terrorists attack because they are cowards having a high-powered temper tantrum. You are falling right into their hands - you're frightened, obviously - to state that we should abandon the Israelis just to stave off terror attacks. That makes no sense. They have plenty of other reasons to attack us, all based on cowardice.

I absolutely agree with the article. Israel has the right of self-defence. The two state solution is the ONLY solution and even then, the Palestinians will not be happy. There will still be violence since the Palestinians cannot even agree on what they want. All the nations of the world accept Israel's right to exist and that will not change. Hamas is fighting a battle that cannot be won.
Hamas continues to provoke Israel and shoot missiles into Israel. This will not be tolerated by any nation. Israel is doing the right thing

That's hilarious. Read all your posts in all threads about Israel. Some of them are cut and paste from one to the other. You have a message. I haven't seen such hatred since people tried to convince certain segments of society that Blacks were enitled to equal rights. You're a joke.

Why couldnt the IDF go in with ground troops first and hunt down hamas? The bombing compaign was only killing good people trying to survive on nothing.

I think what is happening is sick and unjustified. It seems as if the IDF is targeting civilians. I only see a genecide.

This article is just whacked. Sometimes Krauthammer has something interesting to say, but it's clear that on the subject of Israel, he's as blind to the big picture as the Hamas militants.

well, they should be answering to american taxpayers who fund their brutality to the tune of 15 million dollars every day. but of course aipac has such power over the US congress that israel doesn't have to answer to anybody but themselves as you point out so proudly

What if Santa Claus was real? What if God touched down in Gaza and told them to stop? What if dogs could talk? What if these animals who started this acted like civilized people and stop trying to exterminate their neighbors? What if What if..your bias is evident even with your What ifs.
