HEY, that was a very useful site as on it I found: http://esalerugs.com/persian-rugs.html...
The rest of it was propaganda which for some reason omitted two things (1) who actually DID the coup and (2) why the coup was carried out. I have never said the coup was a right thing, but just get the facts straight, for instance, what was going on between the PM and the Russians at the time.
And try to speak without the profanity if you can.
here bitch there was no relations, British MI6 made it up.
"In 1952, President Eisenhower was elected in the United States. His vice president Nixon was a staunch anticommunist. The Iranian communist party was the strongest communist party outside of the Soviet bloc. The British scared Ike about the possibility of a communist military coup in Iran and the possibility of a Russian takeover. This scenario was far-fetched because Mossadegh was as anticommunist as anybody and the 30,000,000 population of Iran would not have permitted such a thing. Russians had taken their best shot when the red army was inside Iran and they couldn't do it. Especially with Stalin's death in March 1953, soviet expansionism had lost its esteem.

Your language is just too nasty. This comment is no exception, and it mixes some uncredited quote and your own opinion, and sounds ridiculous: "The Iranian communist party was the strongest communist party outside of the Soviet bloc...the population of Iran would not have permitted (a communist takeover)..." DUH. I won't play with you.
