Why is it so difficult for people to debate such an important topic? I fully understand and appreciate that there are strong opinions on this subject, but some folks seem to have a problem realizing that there are good points on both sides of the argument. The one common thread I have to believe we all share is our support for the thousands of troops who consider putting their lives on the line on a daily basis 'just another day at the office'.

I know one soldier who didn't get to go over there and fire one shot to get taken out. I had him arrested by the Nashville police and put in jail. He could be in prison for all I care. I had my nephew Dalton Dile ask him questions about his body hair and then me and a bunch of my friends went to his house and accuse him of indecent exposure to a minor.Then I called the police and told them he threatened us with a gun.He didn't have a gun but it was fun to see him get handcuffed and taken to jail. I can do this to any man here in Nashville and get away with it. I ma not using any other name but my own. Nobody can catch me.So to all of you people and your soldierboys let me call the police and get them or you put in jail or even better yet prison.

IN celebration of Passover I felt it was appropriate to post a letter written by a grieving father written a few years ago.

Shaken father writes to president bush
Published in the Home News Tribune

Dear President Bush,

With heavy heart, tears in my eyes and a home full of sorrow, I pick up my pen to write you about a brave soldier, 2nd Lt. Seth J. Dvorin, U.S. Army. My son was killed in Iraq on Feb. 3, 2004 fighting in a war.
Seth was a good boy, well-mannered, smart, kind and understanding.
He joined the Army in an effort to serve his country. And serve his country he did. Seth made the ultimate sacrifice.
Burying a child will no doubt be the hardest task that his mother and I shall ever have to do. The one question I have, and the one question I would like you to answer, is, "Why did my son and every other soldier that was killed, maimed and wounded have to suffer settling your vendetta?"
My son is gone just when he was laying a strong foundation to build upon for the rest of his life.
Now, President Bush, his life has been snuffed out in a meaningless war.
Where are all the weapons of mass destruction, where are the stock piles of chemical and biological weapons?
Please Mr President, pray for all our fallen heroes and as a tribute to these heroes get our boys and girls out of Iraq now, before too much more blood is shed.
Since you waged this unnecessary war on Saddam Hussein the world has become a horrible place to live in.
I know my boy is safe now, in a new world free of hate and prejudices where GOD is his president, but you tell me President Bush why he had to go so soon and in such a violent way.
