I always wondered why more wasn't done after
Saddam gassed the Kurds I think it was shortly after Gulf War I. There were pictures/evidence and logistics already in place.

Where were many of the same politicians that voted for the Iraq Invasion/Occupation or Gulf War II during the actual use of WMDs in the 1990s?

What a bunch of fracken kittens and hypocrites.

Washington (CNN)- Ten years after the start of the Iraq war, most Americans say the war was a mistake and that it was dumb to send U.S. troops into the conflict, according to a new national survey.

And a CNN/ORC International poll released Tuesday also indicates that more than half of the public says that President George W. Bush's administration misled Americans about whether Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and more than half describe the more than eight and a half year long war as a stalemate.

As Americans mark the tenth anniversary of the conflict, 59% of those questioned in the survey say the decision to originally send U.S. troops into Iraq was dumb.

Um, it's not dumb, it was treason, going to war based on lies and torturing before that!

We were shaking hands with Saddam throughout the 80's in Bagdad so is it a stretch that another nation provided him with chemical weapons back then? But let's face it, the federal reserve bank with yewish intentions was opened in 1913, followed by 'the revenue act' followed by WWI, followed by the Balfour Declaration, followed by Britain invading Palestine, followed by harsh sanctions against Germany after WWI, followed by the death of a million farmers in Germany, followed by Germany and their economy crumbling, leading into WWII, Hitler's famous speech "The Jewish Question", followed by the great depression, Don't forget The Bolshevik Revolution, the financeers of it all, those involved with the overthrow of Nicholas The Czar, tens of millions of 'Christains' to the Gulags, is it any wonder why the cold war was actually hatched? That Russia feared us because of WHO?
So please,
Any imput is welcomed and do point out where I am wrong.
Who runs this country anyway?
We were shaking hands with Saddam through out the 1980s

And that is the crux of the matter. GW jr had to erase all the evidence of the nefarious deals GW Sr and the US made in the 80s. It could have been witnesses, documentation, equipment etc. There were probably known 'terrorists' who trained in Iraq and/or under Saddams with US backing in the 80s. There could be oil company deals that were off book or circumvented US law. Just like a gangster getting rid of witnesses before a trial.

Not only did jr want to get rid of evidence he had to do it before his re-election in 2004. Setting aside all the wmd or terror nonsense this was as much about re-election as far as the timing goes. Sooner or later Saddam would've released evidence to the public and other countries about the GW Sr's era for leverage.

Americans armed the Shiites to torture Sunnis. James Steele, trained in Viet Nam, perfected his technique in El Salvador ran the operation AND reported to Gen. Petraeus. Torture onto death occurred to hundreds(possibly thousands). Children were tortured onto death. Screaming from the torture carried on for 24 hours daily.

Donald Rumsfeld was knowledgable with the program.
