The American public has no interest in getting involved in Syria. They would however like to see a resolution of the Israeli Palestinian issue!

By the same token... the Russkies don't give a shit about the Palestinians ... but would like to see their Tartous military base in the Syrian Mediterranee operational, without all the headaches attached since the days everybody started shooting at everybody ... here, next door.

A resolution of the Israeli Palestinian issue? What a joke!! Just out today clown!! A few characters on the side of a 3,000-year-old earthenware jug dating back to the time of King David has stumped archaeologists until now and a fresh translation have profound ramifications for our understanding of the Bible.
Experts had suspected the fragmentary inscription was written in the language of the Canaanites, a biblical people who lived in the present-day Israel. Not so, says one expert who claims to have cracked the code: The mysterious language is actually the oldest form of written Hebrew, placing the ancient Israelites in Jerusalem earlier than previously believed. The name Palestinian never showed up until the creation of the PLO in the early 60's. But then, you should know that since I've already told you 1,500 times!!!!!

Ghaznavi, the point is... after the Russkies got kicked out of Egypt (after the 1973 war)... they lured Assad Sr. into letting them build a support base for their navy... including but not only.. the nuclear subs in the Mediterranean and beyond..

They built a fckkn naval support operation in the Port of Tartous (Tartu) in the Syrian coast.

If Assad Jr. gets kicked out of power in Syria... nothing can assure the Russkies that the next guy in power won't evict the Russkies from Syrian territory.

If evicted from Tartous, the Russkies won't have anywhere to go in the Mediterranean. Incidently, they've been to Mursi already ... and Mursi told them ... he's going to think about letting the Russkies back into Egypt..

It is of strategic importance to the free world (West), to kick the Russkies out of Tartous..

They want control of the oil and Europe, Al Ass ad has already given the russkies the License to control natural gas resources in Syria.
They must be stopped or else we will be living in Feudal times AGAIN!

Good. Better that Kerry plays useless jigs as fiddler on the roof and stay out of affairs beyond his understanding.

While he's there, he can play Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, click his heels 3 times and wish that all the Islamic fanatics in Syria disappeared from view.

No resolution is possible in Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan or Palestine. The best civilization can do is protect itself from Islamic barbarity.

I said nothing more than that the chances of Russia invading Israel are about the same as the chance that you'll ever post anything but nonsense.
