Bush's War will not be over until Bush is out of office. Whosoever follows Bish whether Republican or Democrat can make the appropriate changes to correct Bush mistakes by blaming Bush. He most certainly will be blamed as it will be politically expedient to do so in order to regain World Respect for the USA. Of course, Dems would blame harder since the mirror reflection upon them is not strong in reality.

One thing the new administration should do is drop the "war on terror" terminology. That just incites a erroneous methodology for military solution. What is required in international cooperation and diplomacy. I ho0pe an internationl anti terrorist police force of some kind will be formed.

Thank god, only two more years of this moron.

Diplomacy with the kinds of Bin Laden?

This is the only Diplomacy he understands.

A little girl asks her dad how to send an Easter Card to Bin Laden. Her father, touched by the apparent good in his daughters heart ask he why.

She explains, "Well if I show him love and how not all in the world is filled with hate, and others do the same from all around the world, he will learn what it is to love his fellow man, and not hate and kill. Then he will come out to share this love with everyone, and then the Marines can blow his a$$ away"

The main problem is the fact that the left wing liberals do not know much about the war that US troops are fighting during the last three years against the Islamic fascists in Iraq, including al Qaida that cross the border from Saudi Arabia, and the a Sadr Mehdi army of terrorists that is proxy of Iran. The liberals therefore do not have any intention of doing anything about fighting these Islamic terrorists that keep sending threats and declaring their intentions to take over the Middle East by means of nuclear WMDs, destroy Israel and convert the Jews to Islam at gunpoint, attack the oil-rich countries in the Golf and control the oil fields in the Middle East.
Harry Reid is sure that it is all about the November elections, and does not have a clue about fighting the Islamic terrorists of al-Qaida. Nancy Pelosi not sure what is the problem with Iran with all the argument about Ahmadinajad peaceful nuclear power facilities...John Kerri believes that he can go the cave of Bin Laden in Pakistani mountains and persuade him to stop his terror threats against US...The left wing liberals in the Senate recently discovered that actually Saddam did not like al Zarqawi so much before the start of the war in Iraq…and therefore the war in Iraq could be avoided...but they do not have any plan on winning the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. The question is who will give the left wing liberals his vote if they do not know anything about this Islamic fascism 'thing'...?

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes.

That way, when you do criticize him, you'll be a mile away and have his shoes.

I believe that this country better listen very carefully to President Bush's words. the terrorists do not understand diplomacy. They take any attempt at it as a sign of weakness. We are going to be in this thing for the long haul, and if we aren't willing to do this, we can kiss our way of life good-bye. We definitely are fighting for our civilization. Gid bless our troops!

And you think Bush is winning this war? Why we are tied up invading countries the stateless war on terror is not being fought well in many places including here at home.
As bad a Sadaam was we should have left him in place with tighter no fly zones and with provisions to help the Kurds defend themselves from being his victims while we finished our job in Afghanistan and concentrated our resources in much more effective ways at home and in conjunction with our allies abroad. We would have gained much credibility if we had used Colin Powells doctrines in Afghanistan, finished our job there and left. We have been there almost as long as we were in WW11 and yet we are still piddling away in half assed fashion without an end game or at least without one this administration is willing to admit to.

You cannot use diplomacy with people who do not value life - any life. I am grateful for a president who has the stones to pursue a righteous course of action regardless of which way the political winds are blowing. This all could have been resolved in previous administrations, but it wasn't. Is everything going along as efficiently as it should? No. Military and intelligence spending was cut to the bone previous to W's administration and if I am not mistaken, that started with his father and continued on through the Clinton years. As a nation, we grew complacent after the Cold War. We thought we knew it all. Metaphorically, Steve Irwin made the same error and look what happened to him. You only have to drop your guard for a minute to die a fool's death. Frankly, I believe in this nation enough to have ponied up and paid my dues. Too many Americans lounge in the comforts bought with others' blood. Freedom is not free. The world is not a beautiful place. And if we want to continue to enjoy the freedom of begign little pleasures like writing what we think on forums like this, someone has to pay the tab. But I'm all in favor of pulling out of some of these little nations around the world that have nothing to offer but an empty pocket, an outstretched hand and a knife behind their back.

I may partly disagree with you about meat, but your spot on here. What you have to understand is that VERY few people understand 4th generation warfare. These "nuke 'em till they glow then shoot 'em in the dark" types are people who haven't figured out the nature of modern warfare. Unfortunatly, it's amature hour up in Washington D.C. as well.

Oh how right you are.
His war on terror and its grouping of all of a country or faith ect with the tag because of a particular mindless and "brainwashed" group has done so much to increase world tension and hatred between people's who would otherwise be combined against such insane people.
Of course his preaching of fear has also enabled him to push through all sorts of "big brother" legislation at home and erode your freedoms just as Blaire is trying here.
First seperate the misguided extreme freedom fighter (who feels he has no other choice and who Bush has made feel that even deeper than before) from the brainwashed who straps a bomb on / flys planes into buildings because his mentor (eg Bin Laden says how wonderful his rewards will be)It is time one of those mentors accepted my challenge and proved the point by strapping the bomb on themself, still they know the TRUTH "don't you Binny Boy" you coward..

No, seriously, wishing death and misery on your fellow countryman just for having a different view than yours? You are the common example of why we stand a good chance of losing this conflict. This is a different kind of conflict than what you are used to, it is one than requires more brains than mindless club swinging. Instead of tons of mindless carpet bombing, the preferred round is a silenced 9mm from a mp5sd. Instead of a bunch of dumb "cuntryboys" tearing around in tanks, you need small teams of motivated, skilled, intelligent operatives who can think on their feet and handle up with the finesse of a surgeon, or blow the whole place to hell with precisley laid charges, all without being seen, heard, or publicly praised for a job well done, or even the ultimate sacrafice. So stuff your redneck nationalisim up your tail-pipe and leave this fight to the professional patriots.

Folks, this ain't no war. Bottom line. This is a fight against an "isim", and fights against "isims" are impossible to win with naked force. if America wants to win against it's foes, the first thing she has to do is correctly identify her tormenters. America is at war with an ideology, not a nation or even a man. The only way to truly beat either is to marginalize and make irrelevent the ideology and people behind it. The radical islamic world is FAR from unified, a wise leader of the west would find ways to inflame and balance those inequities to the wests advantage. Keep the middle east in regulated turmoil, that way the oils cheap and the radical ideas are contained. Meddeling from other sources is to be expected (china, russia) but their interests can be balanced back into our favor through many means.

if you serve ill take that from you and say very well but if not kiss my ass. true I dont know what kind of soldiers we have serving now but a few years ago before being unable to continue on with my job they were well train not red necks not running around unprofessional as you say and 5 group men dont talk the way you just did about fellow service men. the only ones i ever incountered who had that kind of attitude was the rangers and that being all they were very good soldiers but always acted above themselves and while training in tinia, guam cypan and a few other places the others were much more professional than all. since trying to finish out this civilian life i have discovered from the people out here mostly democrats they could give a damn about the blood spilled for our country. if you are serving i wish you the best god speed. I really mean that from the bottom of my heart my time has been cut a little short want get to do the things i had always dreamed of when i finished but thats ok i loved every minute and i guess even some how the painful ones as well.
and what you call dumb fuck country boys 8 of them wouldnt leave there wounded friend behind and tried with all they had to get him back. He was married they were single but they kept there word to our country with every last breath. If soldiers are starting to talk bad about each other someone droped the ball, and somebody needs to pick it back up and keep going.

I would like to see one of who preach give peace a chance to go find bin laden and let him know that you don't agree with Bush and that you just want to live in peace. Oh by the way let him know that you also want to continue living your western civilization ways but you just don't want to be at war with him. Let's see how long it takes him to remove your head because if you don't beleive in what he believes in then you are an enemy and must die...
God bless our troops...
