Ah, don't worry about Ray. He probably won't be back. Bet he doesn't have much stomach for a fight, even just one on a forum.

Youre right there Ray. But its hard for a Frenchman to commit murder when they run from any confrontation.

Besides, outside of wine and cheese, theres not much in France worth killing OR dying for.

And by the way, two Frenchmen engaged in a spirited "slap fight" usually won't result in a fatality.

By the way Murders in France this year 1051. murders in the USA 12658, who's more civilised?
I have a Question about this, Percentage-wise in terms of population how would it compare?
Isnt France about the size of one of our states?

Say Lance, are you in mourning for Saddam? Tell the Iraqis in Michigan and see how they react.

I was curious so I did the math, France has a population of 60,876,136 and with 1051 murders comes out to One murder for every 6542 people.
The United States with a population of 298,444,215 and 12678 murders comes to one murder for every 23578 people. so I guess that by your argument we must be more civilised than France.

Someone educate me if I got this wrong.
Saddam was our friend when he was at war with Iran.
Saddam was a Sunni who gassed the Turks who were Shiite.
The Turks who are Shiites backed up Iran during the war which we backed up Saddam.
Am I wrong?
So Saddam was executed for gassing the Shiites who sided with Iran.
