iOS 6: FaceTime over cellular

Sep 19, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)

With iOS 6 , FaceTime gets a feature that it arguably should have had from day one: FaceTime now works over a cellular connection , not just Wi-Fi. That's assuming you have the right device, and assuming your carrier allows FaceTime over 3G/LTE without making you jump through hoops first.

att wont let all its customer use facetime on 3g only if you switch to the over priced family share data plans can you use facetime. all att customers that have regular data plans wont be able to use facetime on 3g !!!! att is being so unfair to its loyal customers !!!! att is the only carrier doing this. file a complaint with the fcc on the fcc.gov website to help stop att restricting facetime on 3g for all its customers !!!! att not making customers happy !!
