The IRL proved today beyond a shadow of any doubt that they are unparalleled in their ability to suck.

Well heck folks,i thought it was rained out so i gave up! They really did not give out the info that it was still on! So i missed it.Was it even on the TV? Because they went straight to outdoor Bowling, lol then later it was soccer.I kept checking and nothing on ESPN,or did they do that sneaky trick like last weekend and put it on ABC!???????? Sorry but i watched Pocono Nascar race! I had to watch racing and i love all the series, but i hate being jerked around by the affiliates that put on Indycar racing! You all know what i mean don't ya? GRRRRRRRRR!

Mindy, see posting #19 by "IRL is Dead". It was shown on ESPN Classic something most of us don't get in Indianapolis unless you pay the cable companies (Comcast) a lot more money for the HD premium stuff. I sure don't; Comcast gets enough of my money to begin with! A couple of weeks ago the IRL race at Mid-Ohio got bumpped off ABC to ESPN (or ESPN-2) because golf ran late and then after an hour got bumpped off ESPN and back to ABC because it was time for ESPN to broadcast the Champ Car race. Open wheel racing has been dying a slow death since 1996 thanks to Tony George.

Yeah, remember that fiasco with the bouncing of ABC due to Golf to Espn and then back, what a mess.Well i think they said they would replay the Indy race today, but im not holding my breath,i will keep checking to see if it comes on because they surely won't tell you,you must just pop in there to check all day,GRRRRR :(

Well even if they do re-broadcast it now who cares? We've seen the highlite wrecks, know who won, etc. Not worth wasting my time watching at this late juncture. Got my Sunday racing fix thankfully... from F-1 via Speed and NASCAR via ESPN (ABC's broadcasting partners? Yeah right!).

Well i will say this about that...I enjoyed watching the whole thing and not just the Hightlights! It's kinda like getting a new book and reading the preface/middle and end and missing the lead up to the parts that are just as enjoyable! "The structure"

I live in Indy and have Insight. With the sports tier ESPN Classic is included. I would imagine that anyone interested in sports in general would have this package so I think many real fans would have been able to see it.

Well I'm not interested in stick and/or ball sports or "sports in general". And I'm not going to pay the cable companies any more than I have too.$50 some bucks or more now for what; only about a dozen channels worth watching. They ought to be paying me! And I wish I lived outside the county; then I wouldn't have to be paying a 2% food and beverage tax and facing a 65% income tax increase. Indianapolis is heading in the wrong direction!
