Not only does she have to win a race, she also has to beat their prejudices about a woman beating a man. It will happen, and she will have to had worked harder than the men because some of the (DW), can handle being beaten by a woman. Good thing he doesn't have to work for a woman in the real world. Can you say unemployment.

Makes you wonder why Brian Barnhart changed his mind. After the incident at Milwaukee, he was reported as saying something to the effect "what goes around, comes around". But the circus arrives in Fort Worth and he decides to address the situation. In the meantime, the IRL whips up some needed press buzz and fan interest in their small-field, spec-car series. Hmmm...

P.S. "Milka crashes again." How many times are we going to hear that line this season?

All racing is spec series these days. They all are heavily regulated. Obviously it got you interested enough to read and respond. Score one for the IRL! Milka? Catherine Legge? What's the difference?

Danica Patrick is just a spoiled brat. Dan Wheldon has won more races than she ever will if she lives to be 100. She is with one of the, if not the, top teams in the IRL and still cant win( the only one on her team not to win a race ). If you think she will win an IRL race, Ive got a nice bridge for sale in Arizona, overlooking the ocean. By the way, have you looked at the replay?? Dan was right, Danica was wrong. Looks like the Danica meltdown is just beginning. I pray for the day she goes to NASCAR and tries that stuff. Lets all watch the trainwreck. Folks, she has become a joke..

"[Danica] played out in front of Milwaukee's front grandstand and a host of reporters and cameras."

That says it all. Danica is all show.

Danica can drive the problem is not
a professional, she is hype to sell
the IRL races. They know at the stage
of her race carrer she has a snow ball
chance in hell to win a race. She can
drive the ARG car one of the best in
IRL series, put in a car that running
on small budget and we would not be
talking about her. Great day in Raider land.

She's a great fit with the Andretti family... always trying to blame someone for her mistakes. The IRL needs to broaden their attention to other drivers and quit using her as their star.

Weldon is a jerk. The tape proves that he forced Danica out, which might have been the fault of his spotter, yet doesn't he have a mirror to have seen she was there? She should not have confronted him in public, but the initial fault was his and if the issue had been with a fellow male driver, he would have said, "Hey man - sorry - I honestly didn't see you" but for him to totally blame her is wrong.

Women always take advantage of their gender. Real men don't call them dogs either.

After reading these responses I am amazed. The people commenting on how Danika can't drive are delusional. She is an excellent driver and it is only a matter of time before she wins. The current Indy 500 winner is a good example of that. Danika has been competitive with the top drivers the last few years. She isn't the Tiger Woods of racing but she will do.

Idiot Barhardt should be so happy that this got Wheldon on PTI. Nothing else would get an IndyCar driver on that show and that is great for the sport that it was discussed on PTI.

bob in brownsburg...needless to say your are a simple minded person. the racing in the IRL is second to none. very close, very fast, many lead changes. obviously your an uninformed observer and not a true fan. so, boob, i mean bob...get a life! quit bashing the IRL.

Texas is known for its side by side racing. Should be "very interesting" when Dan & Danica get side by side, especially if it would go on for a dozen laps or so. Start Time 10pm in the east!?!

I like it when a few of the drivers are fighting with each other. It adds an additional story line to the race Saturday.

What all the hype about her. She looks like any girl off the streets and when she poses in advertisment layouts, it makes me cringe. At least this wasnt as embarassing as her hissy fit a while back.
