I assume All State car insurance is a sponsor.

Good for Sheckter, he deserves a ride.

I guess this is proof positive that the 'revenue sharing' the IRL has offered up is a total joke. Its clearly not enough to get a solid team with a good driver to run a full season.

Why aren't the earl teams that actually support FTG's mess by participating in his fraud upset that he is willing to give massive handouts to Champ Car teams?
They go along with his garbage, the Tony tax, and get shafted for their effort? Why would anyone put up with that?
They deserve it though, for being so stupid.
Hysterical that adding 1 crapwagon for 3 'races' is news. What a pathetic, garbage 'league'. FTG sure done fixed things.
I gotta tell you Gomer I've read your posting at least a half dozen times before I could figure out what you're talking about even though you still leave some confusion in some of your meaning. I find it really pathetic how bad our education system is especially in the use of the english language but I'll give you the benefit of doubt and assume that's the fault of your teachers. But then again, maybe the name fits.

It's no coincidence that this illiterate "Gomer" is from Florida. That entire state is full of the most uneducated morons I have ever seen. I'm not sure if they even have schools there.

In reply to the Gomer fellow:

Why do you hate TG so much? Last I saw, between Champ Car and IRL, IRL wasn't the bankrupt one!!!Atleast the IRL teams can pay drivers....the drivers don't have to buy rides!!!

As far as the handouts go, I saw on tv the other day that the smaller IRL teams could qualify for assistance depending on sponsor income and avg. finish the prev. year....and it is for 2008 only!!!

Guess it pays to watch the news instead of blindly attacking someone like TG!!!

It will be interesting if Scheckter wins the Indianapolis 500 if Jay Penske's group won't do the whole season. Without Hornish and Franchitti I bet TG will want to have the defending Indy champ at all the IRL reasons just for the marketing value.

My guess is no. Tony Kanaan will win Indy this year! Just a guess. But I really want Vitor Meira to win instead :) No matter what Sheckter drives for Jay Penske not Roger Penske. I think once again it will be the AGR/R.Penske/Ganassi drivers in contention again!

i would think maybe daddy roger could help his son with a little sponsorship or just a few bucks under the table maybe? so that he could run a full season. oh well i guess jay penske wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth
