Wow, great job Curt. Let's make up some crackerjack rivalries between FRIENDS to try to get people to watch this drivel.

The IRL needs to remind the tv camera operators to zoom in on the cars so the empty stands are not visible on the tv screen!

Blow it out your ear, y'all. The field is healthy, the lineup has continuity, and there's more and better sponsorship than at the outset last year. I'M excited, looking forward to a great race, a great 500, and a great season, and stoked about the series as a whole. You don't dig it? Who needs ya?

And as far as press coverage, pray show me ANY mention of the CCWS in ANY major paper. It doesn't exist. The ONLY open wheel series that has ANY national profile in this country is the IRL. Bash it all you want, but ya got nuthin'.

Actually, in a very few weeks there will be quartermidgets, micros, midgets, mini-sprints, TQs, and sprint cars running so many places within an hours drive of Indy, you couldn't see half of them on any given weekend. The Fish Wrap isn't in the business of giving free publicity unless the news releases are faxed to the sports writers along with their passes to the hospitality tents serving them free booze.

If all you people have to do is BAG on the Indy Car series, why are you even posting comments, better yet why are you even bothering to read the stories that have to do with the IRL?? The IRL has just a better class of of fans! So what if our stands aren't full there are still plenty of us that enjoy this type of racing! Not to mention a lot of us also follow the Nascar series too! Didn't you mother's teach you that if you have nothing nice to say then keep you mouth shut! Go Sammy!!
