Danica's comment was interesting in light of the consistent report from the IRL workers who travel to the event. They report that they never felt more welcome anywhere, at the track or in town.

eighteen cars in the race. you wouldnt even have to be good to finish in the top ten. what has happened to all the good racing from the 60's and 70's?

I think I know why Sarah struggled... Perhaps her ability to shift more than once in a lap, and to turn left AND right, is a little hampered by her LACK OF TALENT.

Road courses separate the men from the boys. Of course, the IRL on road courses is against Tony George's mantra of Americans racing on ovals, but who's watching anyway...

Maybe Sarah can race on one of those motorcycles at the new Indy motorcycle race.

There's still a month without action at the track, so what about school bus demolition derby races in October?

I really like Sarah. It's too bad she can't seem to get it all together. Think she might be able to show her stuff if she could just get into a complete package.

I think it is about time to pull the plug of Sarah. She is talented only at making excuses.

A "complete package" would be back to go karting for Sarah.
Wonder why Ganassi, Penske, or Andretti never came calling??
Could it be..... lack of talent??!!

Maybe so but she never really has had the chance to show if she has talent or not. You have to give her credit for trying at least.

I have been trying to think of a gentlemanly way to say this, but heck with it....I would love to see Sarahs' a** on a motorcycle.

Fisher has had chances. She hasn't done squat.
