I caught that too...but Indy, if you're being technical, is a retangular, hi-speed road course.

Every oil company you gas up at bought at least some of their crude from Venezueala. This information is easily researched.

Also, this young woman doesn't need to put up with your ignorance.

Robin, I see that your remark was removed. I hope you are wrong, but I don't question your knowledge, or your opinion on this matter, as I happen to agree with you on the subject.

I HOPE MILKA DOES WELL,BUT I DONT SEE IT HAPPENING.SHE IS A MEDIOCRE DRIVER AT BEST.I THINK SHE IS IN WAY OVER HER HEAD.IVE WATCHED HER RACE FOR OVER 2 YEARS IN THE ROLEX SERIES,AND SHE HAS A HARD TIME KEEPING UP...WITH 4 MASTER DEGREES YOU WOULD THINK SHE WOULD BE SMART ENOUGH TO TRY A DIFFERENT FORM OF OPEN WHEEL RACING BEFORE JUMPING INTO A CAR THAT WILL RUN OVER 200MPH ...GOOD LUCK MILKA & SAMAX

Yes...I really think that sort of monolithic thought should be left to that motor "sport" to the south...

The Star is a little touchy about my handle, so I'm not surprised they courageously yanked my post. If you follow the real Robin on Speedvision's site, you'll see his prediction for Duno.(Think Jovy Marcelo) He thinks (correctly) that IMS and it's media lackey (The Star) are trying to take advantage of her to increase ticket sales and ratings a la Danica. Let's see how long this post lasts..........

She's not qualified to run Indy cars yet. There's a good chance she'll hurt herself or someone else if she tries to learn at one of the fastest, most unforgiving tracks in the series. Sports cars are not Indy cars, period.

If you really are Robin...hey man...

You may well be right...my comment here was in regard to someone's ignorant booing of her based on her country of origin and sponsor.

The Citgo thing is based on people's prejudice; stemming from a lack of thinking. If you're going to have a booner about Citgo...have one about Shell and Exxon/Mobil and BP and all of them. They all buy crude from Hugo Chavez. And Citgo employs 3-4,000 Americans right here at home. Keep the politics out of open wheel racing. That's what NASCAR fans do.

No Mike, just trying to be clever. The real Robin was actually quite critical of Milka Duna's quick ascension to Indy cars. She may be talented, but she's being thrown into the deep end too soon. Hopefully she won't hurt herself or anyone else. Miller's take is that people (IMS, Citgo, owners) are trying to use her for publicity reasons to try to recover some lost fans/TV ratings. It seemed to work for Danica.
