By the way.

Jason Priestly is not driving he's the owner of the team.

Yep Tony has the money and all the drivers got paid last year as well. Why didn't Champ pay there's? Oh they're broke and the league owners can't do a thing about it.

Yee haw. But, hey. On the brightside, IRL oval qualifying will be longer so now the 10 paying customers that actually show up will get the most out of their free tickets.
IRL & CC both need to die. Kill 'em all and start fresh.
"...10 paying customers....free tickets".

Dude...what in the wide wide world of sports are you talking about??

Tony George funds at least 1/3 of the starters.
He has for many years now.
It is well known.
Now with his corporate welfare program, where he is subsidizing teams, it can be easily seen that he will fund almost all 33 cars, with the exception of the Honda Yen specials, who won every single race last year in the greatest spec car spectacle in the Indy area.
Nice stuff tOnEY....you saved it!
I think you are starting to believe your own bullsheet lurker.

Besides Vision Racing, what teams does TG fund?
What teams does Honda give engines to?
Isn't your beloved CCWS also a "Spec" series?

Pull out the gerbil, put down the vinyl playmate and give some thought to your comments.

Maybe then you will realize just how foolish you really sound.

the wicked standglare at any irl venue....if you go to a race sometime bring your burncreme and body armor if you sit in the stands. It's like sitting in the middle of a lake on a 99 degree day during a meteor shower.

it's amazing how the kool-aid blurs the vision after all these years.

either that or the aluminum standglare has lazered your retinas and you think you see fans when you actually only see sunspots.

Yet you're so obsessed with it you have to go on and on about things only you agree with. You need to get some help. Just what are you talking about? No one understands you.

IRL & CC need to merge.

Why is it so inconceivable to have different cars for each team set up for different tracks (i.e. ovals vs. road courses)??

Nascar's growth has slowed recently, why not reinvigorate the sport now?
Cast it as the anti-redneck racing sport but without the F1 European holier-than-thou attitude.

Thanks for attempting to explain it to me in "lurker speak". Maybe some day you will get some new material, this rehash of you old stuff really gets boring. The "funny" has run out my friend.

Now back to my original question...and I will explain it further since it is apparent that you did not understand.
Why would someone who is supposedly getting a "free" ticket pay for it. I guess I just don't get basement lurker logic?

Ahhh... desperate times call for desperate dreams for the Chump Car faithful.

Now that you've wiped, how 'bout taking the "paper", toss to the commode and give a flush (rather than staring at the Champ Car doodie in hand).

Merge? Who could drive and be competitive in Champ? Oriol and Graham but Graham is going to F-1. Tracy is washed up. They should run to Indy as fast ast they can but who would hire them and why?

Ummm, based on the new rules? Every team that doesn't win a race (which turns out to be most of them.)
