A new crew chief hasn't solved Junior's woes

May 21, 2010 Full story: CBS SportsLine 45

On the one-year NASCAR anniversary of the union between Lance McGrew and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., I could only think of one thing... Divorce.

Well this Dale Jr thread shows up at two different forums:
http://www.topix.com/nascar/dale-earnhardt-jr
http://www.topix.com/forum/nascar
So if you think I was at a 'Dale Jr' forum, you are mistaken. I don't go to specific driver forums. I visit the general nascar forum.
The Junior threads show up here too...
http://www.topix.com/forum/racing

I find it humorous that threads about The Junior show up on a racing forum. I could see it if they were on a t-shirt or die cast forum.

If you don't like Jr, then why are you even on this
site??? Do ya'll crap on every driver you don't like? Do any of you even have a favorite driver or do you just post crap about Jr? Most of you probably can't even drive a car, much less a race car. If you can't say something nice about someone then keep your mouth shut. Didn't your mama teach you any manners????

Yet another thin skin hillbilly hick. I can drive a car, have driven a race car and all of that aside, Joonyer is still the weak link of the Hendrick organization. He has had various crew chiefs, car owners and crew people and he is fast running out of excuses. Hell, in a desperate attempt to teach Joonyer how to race and act like a racecar driver, Hendrick will house him with the #48 team this upcoming year. Joonyer is no longer the up and coming driver, he is no longer the future hope of NASCAR and he is not even as popular in the papers and other media as he once was. More and more people are seeing him for what he is, just another run of the mill driver with a famous last name. Those of us who knew and saw him in his Late Model Stock days are not surprised. Joonyer has always had the problem of being over hyped and under talented and finally most of the people who actually understand the dynamics of stock car racing are understanding that he is much more like a Kyle Petty than he is a Davey Allison.

We're on this site because it's a NASCAR forum and contrary to what JR fans believe, there is more to NASCAR than just JR.

Can't say anything nice about JR because he doesn't do anything worth celebrating or bragging about, so what's "nice" to say about that loser?

At least Kyle Petty had the sense to get out of the car after it became clear that he wasn't that great on the track. That way he salvaged some of the family fame and didn't tarnish the Petty name by losing so much that his failures out-shined the legendary memory of his father.
