Dale Earnhardt, Jr. To Start Own Team, Join Indycar Series

Today, live from his Mooresville, NC shop, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. announced that he will expand his JR Motorsports operation into open-wheel racing and join the IZOD Indycar Series.

WOW, I guess this would make sense. If he does manage to get Danica out of the INDY seires, he might be wise to start a team to offset the hit they would take.

After the numerous futile attempts by open wheelers to run in the stockcar series, it would be interesting to see a stockcar driver attempt to run in the open wheel circuit. I'm gussing the results would be above the same. Running some exhibition laps is one thing but running in competition is another. I'm wondering how much longer Hornish is going to keep hanging around wasting gas.

They need Hornish
to keep the wall's clean.Every race he runs they get to clean the walls and sometimes need to repaint them...lol

I'm on it like Blue Bonnet, Peter! Next year, I intend to win the Sprint Cup, Indycar and F1 championships, as well as the 24 Hrs of leMans and the Paris- Dakkar rally. In my spare time I will clean up the Gulf oil spill, find a cure for cancer and build an exact replica of Talledega on the moon.
