IRL Track Dump List
Homestead – No fans attend anyway
Kansas – 1 ½ mile tracks are the most boring
Iowa – More suited for USAC cars. A bit to Iowa for the big leagues
Richmond – Another small for Indy Car great for USAC track
Mid Ohio – Cleveland is a much better venue
Kentucky – Another boring 1 ½ mile NASCAR style track. Stupid!
Belle Isle – Worst street course of the modern era. Sorry Captain!
Chicagoland – What size is this track again? Oh yeah, the boring 1 ½ mile NASCAR track. Milwaukee is close to the Chicago market anyway.
IRL Maybe Track List
Nashville – Might be able to build a market
Texas – To NASCAR like, if fan interest is strong w/o having to buy NASCAR tickets in a package then maybe. The IRL needs to keep the cars on the track though and out of the fences.
IRL Keepers
Streets of St. Petersburg – Good street circuit
Motegi – As long as Honda sticks around
Indy – To make Tony happy ha ha
Milwaukee – 1 mile ovals for open wheel
Infineon Raceway – Decent enough road course
Champ Car Track Dump List
Houston – Ok street circuit, if Texas stays then Houston goes
Circuit Zolder - Heusden-Zolder Belgium – keep the other two European events. Package them with Japan.
Mazda Raceway – Already at Long Beach and Infineon
Champ Car Keepers
Long Beach – Duh!
Jerez, Spain – Great alternative to F1. Great attendance will be the norm.
Cleveland – One of the best temporary street/road courses. Always action packed!
Mont-Tremblant, Canada – For those that don’t know Canadians love Champ Car. Mont Tremblant is a classic road course.
Toronto, Canada- Just like Long Beach, Duh!
Edmonton, Canada – Check out the crowds!!! Another great airport track. Maybe all races should be held at airports!
Portland – Rich in history, bring the ALMS for a Saturday show to help ticket sales
Road America – Only the best road course in America!
Assen, Holland – Good turnout last year for Champ Car. Great alternative to F1.
Mexico – Cool road course. Champ Car has a large number of Mexican fans.
Australia – Is it even a question?
Add For a Merged Series
Phoenix – Great to have Phoenix and Milwaukee back on the schedule
