Are you kidding? I'm not a huge Gordon or NASCAR fan, but the guy received a ton of cheers when he won in 1994. E-SR wasn't even in the picture. Gordon was battling Earnie Irvin.
The pure hatred for Gordon didn't kick in until closer to '96. There were still some boos, but he was still the hometown hero then.
I know Unser Jr was a favorite. He was my favorite then. That doesn't mean he got louder cheers than Gordon.
Oh ok I'm thinking you're saying in general here! People didn't like Gordon for a long time, not kidding ! They cheered for him here because he's from here, but nope alot of people called him gay, a punk, you name it. None of it is true he's a really good guy and great driver but he still has some who wont like him due to overshadowing Sr. when Sr. wasn't doing so hot! One thing here is Unser wasn't on the track with Gordon! Robby Gordon maybe at INdy but not Jeff.

We all hear Gordon getting booed. We hear the negative comments, sexual or otherwise. The point of my post was that Gordon was more popular at IMS in 1994 than Al Unser Jr. It doesn't matter if it was a different race. It was the same track with a lot of the same fan base.

Ok but I don't know how you could compare, the older people like the Unsers will the new breed doesn't remember them much. Did lil Al drive for Penke that year? I think that's why, lol, I'm kidding I just don't care for Penske drivers except for Helio that is.

I didn't compare generations. I compared fan reaction to Unser Jr winning in 1994 to Gordon winning in 1994.

Unser was with Penske in 1994, but he was still a favorite.

Oh hell no you're saying that more people cheered for him then Unser in the 500? I doubt that big time, didn't you say they bood at the 500 before too, which doesn't happen? The Brickyard wasn't the big race in 1994 and isn't now either. Not yet anyways.

Knock Knock, talk all you want about the 500 mile race, but what are you saying? In Brazil we know what the 500 mile race is and it's Helios series. For you to say that that race is almost non-existent is lie. If there is other races that day we do not know that! We hear that; Nascar is for poor low lifes
Sorry Vitor I was irritated, lol.

I didn't say it was the bigger race. I never said they boo'd the 500. Don't you realize you can re-read every post? They are archived.

I was at both races. It was the first ever Brickyard 400 and hometown hero Jeff Gordon was bringing home the win. Al Unser Jr -- no matter how popular -- was still winning another 500 for Penske. He was cheered, but there were a lot more fan favorites that people wanted to see win. Besides Earnhardt Sr, the crowd wanted to see Gordon win.

post 17, 18, 10, 20 is by a troll! A troll is a desperate loser who thrives on causing trouble. He's over here talking to himself. He uses a proxy to change his ip location and is definitely mental. No one on the IRL forum is mad but him and he's mental. Until he blows his brains out he'll be around just know he's here in the F-1 forum, Nascar forum and gay forums! He's everywhere so ignore his trollish ways.

Me embarassed? On every thread in this forum you have talked horribly about everything. I know it's the same person which is you. Just go on with your long drawn out games. You change your name and avatar like it's a game, I hope you get better, really and I'm glad I don't have contact with in real life. There's more to life then the internet you should go to the library or something low key.

I change my name and avatar like its a game? I don't have an avatar and I've responded directly w/ the same name.

I do need to get a life. Maybe I'll take a trip to the library.

I told him to go to the library, he lives in Indianapolis so I'd advice everyone to stay out of the bathrooms in Indy he may be lurking!

I was responding directly to your recent post. You can easily read it.

The library mention was a reference to another post you left where you told me to get a life and recommended the library being the first start.

I appreciate you pointing out your sexual preference. I didn't realize responding to your direct questions made me a homosexual.
