it seems that the only exports coming out of brazil to the u.s.a. ,,are illegal aliens, and lying,frauding,criminals....a guilty verdict and jail, back taxes, fines, and permanent deportation, will send a message to these foreign nationals that the u.s.a. is a nation of laws........

Best of LUCK to the man. From what I understand the Feds totally proved their case against him.

the only exports coming out of brazil to the u.s.a. seems to be illegal aliens and lying frauding,criminals...we need to set an example on this brasiliero and his co-conspirators....GUILTY!!!!J AIL,,BACK TAXES,,FINE,,AND !!! DEPORTATION !!!... When they escort this guy from jail to the plane back to brazil we could fill it up with illegal brazilians in florida who lie, cheat, steal, and fraud, much like helio...

It serves no purpose to put him in jail. He only followed advice of his attorney(s). If he truly owes the money then let him pay it and let's move on already. He's not Al Capone afterall.
My prediction........Not only will Helio beat this and be victorious, he will once again race at the Indy 500 and win it! I have tickets and I will be there to see him WIN!!!!!!!!

The major problem Helio has is the fact that the Feds don't make a move unless they have an air-tight case. That is why Helio went for a jury trial. He hopes that the jury can be swayed enough to let him off with probation and a fine. I'm leaning toward the feeling that he didn't closely follow his business affairs, leaving the details to friends and relatives. If anyone in the group most likley deserves jail time, it is his sister. Beyond anyone else, she was a primary player and should face the penalty of a guilty verdict and be sent to jail.
