I've been a Danica fan ever since her 05 qualifying run at Indy and have rooted for her to win ever since. I thought the agressive style she exhibited in that years 500 was remarkable expecially her pass of Wheldon on the restart late in the race. However ever since she's been slow to exhibt that same agressiveness on restarts or in many cases her inability to pass or hold position. I watched her qualifying run at Nashville on the internet and it looked as though she was'nt going deep enough into the corners and was keeping the same basic line throughout her run and essentially not taking the shortest way around. Even the announcer noted this. Danica seems to always say this or that is wrong with the car, and even stated that Dario is always faster implying that he's getting special treatment which is obsurd. I have no doubt Michael Andetti would love to get her in the winners circle because the attention and the opportunities that would give the team would be tremedous. Danica needs to lighten up and look in the mirror or look at the game films more closely to see what she could have done to improve as well as how others do it. She's got the talent and the equipment but appears to lack the deep down drive to get it done. Part and parcel of this is for her improve on her attitude.

I agree. I'm a Danica fan also and I think she needs to put more dedication into it. The wins are not going to come to her....she has to go get em.

What, Danica? You say you "can't pass" at Nashville? No wonder you haven't won yet. Listen, I'll tell ya a secret: you can pass. Further, if you pass the six ahead of you and you don't let anyone pass you, in the end you'll have your first victory. Now that you know, you go girl, GO!!!

I think she's working harder to pass people this year than she has in years past. Indycar is a tight battle with all the cars so close together, so she just has to keep working to get to the front in order to get hers. I doubt if there is a problem with the car, she's just going to have to be as aggressive as Kanaan or Dixon (in my opinion, by far the dirtiest driver in the IRL).

She's 40-50 lbs slower lighter than anyone else and the IRL doesn't weight the drivers with the cars like every other racing series in the world. Even with this HUGE weight advantage Miss Prissy still can't win....maybe she should give up racing and give in to the wishes of her husband who wants to have kids sooner than later.

Thats a dumb statement. Just because her husband wants kids now doesn't mean she does. She's still young yet and theres always time for the famimly thing. She should have her chance to pursue her career first. Is he going to give up his job/career to play mommy? NO!

Correct My Dear...third is certainly a respectable finish. It just seems like Danica doesn't realize that sometimes.
P.S. The best thing about Mondays is...well nothing. I take that back, this is a pretty good Monday. First at Nashville and a 1-2 in Iowa :-)

Nice to see Pruett/Rojas dominate.Course Fogarty/Gurney made some great comebacks after pit stops,so third was a great effort. They Re-air the Race on Speed on Tuesday at 10am my time. It's a must tape and watch. It certainly was one of the most exciting Rolex races ive seen in a while.;)

I thought Danica had a great race yesterday. Unfortunately, lapped racers reduced her chances to a bare minimum 7 laps from the checkered. Danica: just be patient. Justice will prevail!

Mom is in the pits. Didn't TK say he thought that parents (fathers) should be in the stands? I guess that doesn't apply to his team.

The only reason you people know her name is because she is a woman. She's a lousy driver who doesn't know the meaning of the word win. All her whining and griping isn't going to get her a win. Go away Danica. You've had your 15 min, now kick your shoes off and find yourself a kitchen. Go have your kids.
