When was Mcmurray in the 40 car? I thought he was in the 42 car. Sterling left that car and Stremme took over at the start of '06.I wouldnt be suprised if he was to replace Reed Sorenson next year in the #41 Target car. Not that Chip would fire Reed, but more of the situation where Reed will probably seek another destination after looking what Casey has accomplished after leaving Ganassi for Hendricks and he's already found victory lane and like Kyle Busch, with the shortage of available drivers, Reed would be in very high demand! Maybe he'd go to the 4th RCR car, maybe JGR would consider him for the #18 car, or he could be the fresh face that, like Kyle Busch, DEI would like to land to satisfy Bud to stay on the 8 car, i mean, he's still young and can appeal to the young market that Budweiser is after! And, if by some miracle, Ganassi was to land Kyle Busch as well, i think he'd replace David Stremme in the #40 Coor's Light car to compete against his brother, the Busch brothers in Lite Beer cars? It's not out of reality! I know i havent seen talent in the Coor's Light car since Sterlin and McMurray was in it, so that'd be refreshing!
It would be good to see Kyle in the 40 car though and that is very likely. As far as Dan goes though it is highly unlikely in the near future. This is all fueled from a comment he made over a year ago when he said he MIGHT like to give a try one day. I think with all the Sam Jr. speculation right now it has resurfaced.
I think it more likely that Ryan Newman will be driving for Ganassi next year along with Kyle and Juan Pablo
