The number 99 once retired for Greg Moore is back in use In the IRL

Not good but it's not CART it's the IRL, everyone will remember Greg Moore he was a CART driver so I don't think it's that big of a deal. Now ask his best friend Dario Franchitti and he might not like it one bit. Out of respect maybe it shouldn't be used but I also thought it was Sam Schmidt number in the IRL so it's not the same thing really.

The thing is that Tony George and the Indy Racing League bought all of Champ/Cart series records. That would mean 99 shouldn't be used. Greg Moore was at the top of his game when he died kind of like the Tony Renna of Cart. They shouldn't use it.
