He was 44 years old. I doubt that his parents were at the lake with him.

I was very close to this man's family until three weeks ago. I'm very sorry for your loss. I've never seen a woman love her brother so much and want to see him succeed. I didn't know him personally but I know he was loved very much.
Sorry

Dave, no matter what you were doing, making our 65 stang scream, getting your truck stuck in the mud, borrowing our 4-wheeler to find the one you lost in the woods, or just the advise you gave when we asked, we will love and miss you always. Rest in peace Snookie.

To the family and friends of Dave:

I want to apologize for the insensitivity of my remarks about this story. When I wrote my comments, I truly was just curious about divers finding the deceased in 35 feet of water. I have been boating many times at Monroe, and with a depth finder on my boat, it reveals water up to 60' deep in some places. Monore reservoir is no place to have an adult beverage party after dark.

I happened to read the story early Sunday morning before coffee,(looking for the latest on what Mitch is trying to do to us) so I was not fully up to speed, or I would have considered the feelings of the family and friends. I am truly sorry for my question, and for the feelings I hurt. I repent and hope you will forgive me, I will be more careful before I type in the future.

May God Bless.

this week, i have come across soooo many pics of dave and of some of us from way back in the 80's and lots of his friends from those years ... next to cars, dave always loved being on the water boating, skiing, houseboating, anything that had to do with water... so many happy memories ... one of the special memories i have of him was his ALF doll stapped on the front of his boat flynig through the water...lini who has posted ordered one for him and he has a t-shirt on that says""with these looks, who needs money?"... i am going to take ALF with me tomorrow for dave with the pics that i found and know that he would have liked ALF being there with him from his friends during the 80's era instead of me brining him flowers ... for every thing there is a season... god bless dave and his family...

Too bad the boat wasn't equipped with a man overboard alert ... something that would sound an alarm or something. I saw Virtual Lifeline at a boat show & bet it would have made a difference.

ok, so you say he fell off the dock. well if any of my friends felloff a dock ,and was pulled out of the water, but, yet, he or she wasnt important enough to take them back to the house to change clothe. i would have made damn sure, that they were ok. why would anyone leave someone they just pulled out of the water on a dock to go change? whats up with that, and from what I've read. sounds like dave just might be better off.family fueding at a time like this, grow up!

Dave's family is NOT fighting at all. Dave's family is devestated. I spent most of the day with them yesterday. Did you?
