Thank you, Department of Transportation, cities: Fishers and Noblesville and Hamilton County for making Ind. 37 into a parking lot instead of a useful highway. Your inability to think about the future is shameful. It is impossible to drive on Ind. 37 with out being frustrated with the stoplights and traffic congestion. Thank you members of the respective board for voting to allow locating a hotel and water park so close to an elementary school, great idea.

"Unlike some other hotel and water park resorts, Paradise Bay will not require guests to buy a hotel room to have access to the water play and arcade areas. Puller said local residents will be welcome to buy passes for a day at the water park."

It's good to hear that the water park will be open to the public instead of just guest purchasing their room & pool packages.

I love things with concrete in them; sub-contractors rock!

the fact that it is open to the public and not just hotel guests will give it more of a theme park feel. Just what SR 37 needs.

Unbelievable.

More family oriented activities is just what Fishers and the Noblesville area needs. TGI Friday's and Applebees are hardly family friendly. Good for Fishers!

There was a time when living in Fishers was a pleasure. Now it is pure H*ll. The Town Council approves anything and everything that has to do with pouring concrete. The only reason I can guess are the GREEDY TAX DOLLARS. We are starting to lose all of our wildlife and gaining new wildlife - the kind no one wants around them. This water park is just another example of how Fishers is turning into a developer's dream and a resident's nightmare. It doesn't matter if you show up for the Town meetings. You are one individual and they vote for the greedy tax dollars anyway. I'll be moving as soon as I can. It may not be for a couple of years, but my rear end is out of Fishers and Noblesville will not be where I move because of the same situation.

Actually there was a water park up there on 31 some years ago, but after many seasons of lackluster attendance the park closed. I cant remember the name of it, but it was there 20 years ago when I moved to Indy.

Wasn't it like thunder bay or something? I know you could see part of a slide and a concrete slab there years after it closed, maybe you still can

It only make sense to have a hotel/waterpark open to guests of the hotel. That waterpark wil be so busy during peak times with the general public and guests that the the hotel will suffer from disappointed guests not staying there. Its not like this waterpark will be able to accomdate the extent of people that enter a regular amusment park

It was Thunder Island that used to be there. If you do a search on google for Thunder Island Indiana there are pictures of the theme park now...it's really spooky.
