Timothy Churchmouse is the kind face on an ugly body.
I guess I'm glad I've never heard of him. Thanks for the info.

I grew up watching Timothy the Church Mouse.

it was one of many good quality shows that we were blessed by watching, every now and then I think about that show, it does hold sentimental value to me, when America was still innocent.

wished kids these days were still able to have such quality shows to watch. I think we would have a better place ot live and grow up in if they did. rather then the trash that permiates the airways today.

If anyone knows how to get a copy or copies of Timothy please let me know...

Timothy was OK, but Sourdough on Cowboy Bob and Janie's puppets were more my style. Boy do I miss the old Channel 4.

I would very much like to know as well. I was involved as a live character several times as Rev. Good. I've lost or misplaced the video of the Christmas show about 1970 or 71 and would love to have a copy/ don-murray@sbcglobal.net

I have 2 episodes and thats all I have. A few years ago I had a name and # of a woman named shirley I think she was a producer of the show or something. It took A long time but finally got the episodes through her.

My wife says she barely remembers the series, I on the other hand remember the show quite well.

With as hard as it might be to locate videos, I'm going to assume that it would be harder still to get any of the scripts. I remember he had a best friend, Ezra the Racoon and a sister who's name I don't recall. And of course several human friends, including Rev. Good.

Dabbling in writing a bit myself, I think it would be fun to write a script to reintroduce kids to Timothy and the gang.

But at least I know it will be easy to find the only really NEEDED reference material, the Bible! <grin>

Hey everyone. I just stumbled upon this when I googled Timothy.

My Father, Ron Sanderson was involved in the show, he was the pupeteer for Timothy as I recall, and I have memories of him making a Tin Foil Robot for an episode.

Did anyone ever locate where to obtain episodes of video?

Does anyone rememberworking with my Father? Just curious as I was too young to really remember the showl but know he did work on it quite a bit.

I use to watch every sunday morning timothy the church mouse lol I loved that puppet show.It had a lot of good lessons in it for children. really good message on how to act.so you are meaning timothy the church mouse , yes love them to bring back that show. might teach many kids today how to grow up and be great people, kind, considerate, and loving.I also watched the pirate show on channel 40, I forget the name , if anyone remmebers it's name. i think it was capn hook something like that, it also had a religious theme and message. There was another religious show Id watch also it was various shows of people finding faith , I wished i knew it;s name also anyone remmeber it pleasew post also thank you.

I loved this show. I credit it a lot for who I am today. It taught me many good values that I probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise. It really was my "children's church" since my family didn't go to church. It laid a good foundation for my faith. Thanks to all who had a part to play in this series.

I liked the pirate show on WHMB tv 40.The banana splits were funny also.We need Sammy Terry back. I got some nieces and nephews to scare.I watched Timothy the church mouse every Sunday morning. Not to many shows that teach real values to kids anymore, Most are r-rated nasty reality shows of women acting trashy. Very sad what has become of Tv.tHERE IS NO END TO THE VIOLENCE THEY SHOW .It has made kids become desensitized to everything.
