Look deeper into it.... if she was familiar with the area, it would be hard for her to become disoriented in the dark....Something is wrong.

This is a horrible outcome. My thoughts and prayers to the children. But, to be honest, four days is too long to wait to report someone missing.

yes, very sad for the family.lets hope other families learn & do not just think it is okay for a member to go off for a couple days w/ out checking in.

I smell a fish. For him to be not cooperative caused a death and no mother of the children. But I can understand his feelings. Basically the boyfriend had the nerves to ask. But there are times to help one antoher. Yes, if she was familiar of the area then the darkness would not bother her & she would not become all of a sudden disoriented. I would fish into this deeper. There are 2 sides to every story. 4 days is way to long to report a person of any age, it doesnt matter if this happen b4. Maybe other families will next time comprise. But the boyfriend was old enough to find another place, for some odd reason maybe not that is why he was in need of help by asking.

No arguement is worth the hateful words that we sometimes say to one another...so...so...sad for this family to have this happen, however; I too feel there needs to be a deeper investigation.

May the Lord grant this family peace.

How sad is it that people post hateful things in a time where people are grieving.
"Good Riddance" it's stuiped people like you that make this world so damn hateful. If we would rid the world of people like that there would be a lot of peace come.

I really feel bad for the children and hope that the father/husband has nothing to truly do with it. Just because something bad happens to people doesn't always mean that it is foul play!

I feel very sorry for her children at this difficult time. Sounds like the marriage was rocky as it was with this not being the first time for her to leave and stay gone a night or two at a hotel. I'm not a mother so I could be wrong and I apologize in advance; however I cannot imagine being willing to leave my 16 year daughter behind for a night or two because I am angry with my spouse or my 7 year old son. I guess everyone is different but I can't think of a single woman I know that is a mother that could stay away from their kids that long other than an emergency or being in a hospital. I don't know. I saw the interview on the news I guess a week or so ago with her husband. I remember thinking how calm he seemed and it didn't sit right with me. How odd to wait four days to call when she doesn't check on her children especially if her habit was a night or two but she ALWAYS called. I guess no one can say what they would do in that situation but one can imagine that if the norm was broken...it would raise red flag of concern (couple nights, hasn't called the kids, I should call the police). From the article I guess this case will be closed and ruled accidental but I think a lot of things sound out of sorts about this relationship and/or family.

Why do you post something that makes others think you are just a horse's ass?

NO 40 YEAR OLD WOMEN SITS IN THE WOODS TILL SHE FREEZES TO DEATH, I DON'T CARE HOW MAD SHE IS......I know I have been married to the same man for 37 years and I have been mad to many times to belive that any women not on drugs would be that up-set....not over a daughters boy friend....sounds fishy to me.....
