You do understand that the people who are selling the generic pill for so much less didn't have to spend millions of dollars in research and development to make the drug right??? Drug companies are making a profit just like every other company out there but they also have HUGE expenses to come up with the drugs and make them safe. People complain about the cost but then also complain when there isn't enough R&D to know what all the side effects might be before bringing to market....you can't have it both ways.

Sounds like you are the one who wants it both ways.
1. Poor Lilly spends billions on r&d, that's why it is sooooo expenses to buy there drugs....
2. There isn't enough r&d done on drugs before going to market to forsee everything that can go wrong...

Why don't you admit that you are a Lilly whore and don't care (1) about the safety of the drugs they bring to market and (2) Need to justify what they are doing in order to live with yourself.

How do YOU explain the litany of drugs from Lilly that turn out to be nightmares? Why don't we go back to 1982 and talk about Oraflex, which they Plead guilty to 25 counts related to mislabeling side effects?
What about Prozac?
Do YOU think it is just an overwhelming desire to bring to market "helpful" drugs, that Lilly just gets too excited and rushes them out there too fast (ya know, can't wait to be helpful)? Or do you think they are just completely inept; unable to research, develop, and adequately test drugs before unleashing them on an unsuspecting public?
Which is it, o bright one?

If zyprexa costs twice what the similar drugs costs, then by Here We Go Again's estimation, they should be "twice as safe", since after all, we are paying huge prices for all that expensive R and D.
Hmmm.
Funny how the human mind can delude itself into believing the most preposterous things in order to rationalize wrongdoing.

Take a look at Eli Lilly's 10K filing, and marketing expense is clearly mor than R&D. During the time Zyprexa has been under patent, Eli Lilly will have grossed about $50,000,000,000 on Zyprexa sales. How much R&D expense does it take to figure out most people who take Zyprexa turn into fat blobs? The recent CAFE study, where all patients had little or no previous antipsychotic experience showed that of 133 patients who started on Zyprexa, only 7 men and no women were able to stay on Zyprexa for the full year without gaining 7% or more of their body weight. Eli Lilly knew this 15 years ago, and packed the phase 3 clinical trials with patients that had been on typical antipsychotics for years to keep reported side effects down. Just like with every treatment or medication before, Eli Lilly initially proclaimed Zyprexa the magic bullet cure for schizophrenia, only to come up with another disabling, dangerous and ineffective product.

<quoted text>Were that true then it would be a disease, which it is not. The scans that show a difference are the children who have been medicated. There is NO DIFFERENCE BEFORE the drugs are given.
A few years ago my son was having episodes where it was thought he may have a seizure disorder so he was given two EEG's.

My son did not have a seizure disorder but the EEG's did show he had an attention disorder. This had been diagnosed years before, so we were aware of it. My son was NOT taking any medication and had NEVER taken any medication.

EEGs cannot be used to diagnose ADHD, bipolar, aspergers or any similar condition, because these are psychological problems and not medical brain illnesses. Any doctor that claims to be able to use an EEG to diagnose ADHD is a quack.

The tests weren't used to diagnosed ADHD, the tests were to rule out a seizure disorder. The doctor wasn't aware that we had a previous diagnosis. The test was done by one clinic and only read by this physician. When the first was done and the results came back abnormal, another was done, it too was abnormal.

When we went for our consult, the doctor said he had no seizure activity but did have an attention deficit.

Very great deal and very smooth transaction. PILLSMEDSHOPdotCOM was on top of my order and shipped it within a day. Thats all that they have control over and they done it fast. It sat in customs for a little bit but they have no control over the sluggishness of how customs work.

I ordered from http://bit.ly/Zl2bAK for the first time and i definitely will again. Customer service is great!
I inquired about my order as i had the wrong zip code on my mailing address and their customer support helped me right away.
They were very helpful and also when you have any questions, they email you right back with answers.
I would recommend them highly as they deliver what they promise!
