This make the news?

Parents report this to the police?

What a bizzare society we have become.

Guys, how about finding some real news for a change? Or else, we can make do with an extra comic strip (no pun intended!) or two.:)

Wouldn't that be "depantsed?"

Admininstration screwup to begin with. 8th graders shouldn't be at a dance at 11PM. Too darn late. They get more stupid the later it gets. Instead of calling IMD, the dad should teach his son to box so he can take care of himself. Nobody will try to pull his pants down if he can blacken their eyes.

The Star considers this to be "news". Tell the kid to pull his pants up and get on with life.

I don't think that this should be tolerated in any way, but I also would hope that there are better ways to deal with this than police action. Maybe we have come to that point. I hope we have not.

Pantsed in common lingo for depantsing...dont you know we live in a society known for abbreviating everything? If you still say depantsed, you are at least ten years off the pant-yanking vocabulary! haha

You have got to be kidding me! The police were called over a play ground prank? The parents should be ashamed of them selves. The boy is probably more embarrassed about the publicity than of the prankish event. SHAME ON YOU MOM AND DAD!

I think the story is that they called the police, not the actual incident. Dad is probably a tree hugging liberal. Liberals want the goverment to control everyones behavior but their own. Its truly pathetic!

Maybe this isn't worthy of police attention but it should by no means be tolerated as "boys will be boys." Incidents like this, when a boy is continually picked on, may lead someone to revenge. Have the school shootings not taught us anything? You idiots that seem to think this is acceptable behaviour were, and probably still are, bullies. These boys probably had excellent examples set by their fathers who is a bully himself.

I am embarrassed that a parent would file a police report over this stunt. That is a waste of taxpayer dollars and time the office should have been working to stop real criminals.

I am convinced American society has castrated its citizens to the point where the majority cannot defend themselves and can only turn to the police state.

and yes, the indy star is pretty pathetic for running this story.

Where were the parents?

HAHAHA! The old classic... depantsing. Sounds like the crybaby nerd needs to man-up and think of a payback prank.
