Indiana needs to repeal all of the blue laws that are hurting this state! You should be able to buy alcohol take out and cars on Sunday. Can someone please tell me the reason Indiana prohibits the retail sales of beer, wine, and liquor on Sundays? Is it some "blue law" holdover from prohibition days? What's the logic for this law?

Just another "getcha law" that they use to git people that have pissed them off somewhere else down the road like parking in the Judges parking space. Its an old WASP law. You see they stereo typed Blacks back in the day to be drunks and drank after church and they would beat the whites at baseball in the summer. So far, most of the respondents seem to miss the point the lady was in violation of a law.
If the law is bad, remove it, but in the meantime, the police and prosecutor are sworn to uphold it, so do not blame them.
If you won't do anything to repeal the law, blame yourselves.

Repeal the law - it's outdated. Heck, in Texas they sell single 12 oz cans of beer (ice cold) at the convenience stoes and gas stations; probably on Sunday too!
