So what? They are just doing what they see their parents do every week-end. It seems that everyone defends drinking today and they should lower the age that they can buy it.

You sound angry. I think you're just mad because you were not there. You do seem to be the type that would would enjoy drinking alcohol with 13 yr olds.

I agree, David. They watch their parents do it. I'm sure a lot of the parents were aware where their 13 year olds were going. They just never thought they'd get caught. They are 13 so they didn't drive to that bar.

Not only that it seems that alcohol is in every front today. Even in the news. When they report on sports where do they go to talk to sports fans and what do those fans have in their hands? It is in a bar where everyone is holding up their beers. So why should teens not think it is the thing to do today is to drink. They are only following the example set for them.
BTW I had a nephew that died from alcohol at the young age of 38. He had no liver left. He was not a drunk. Everyone who knew him, liked him and very few even thought he had a drinking problem. He did not go out and get into trouble and had everything to live for but drinking was his life.

Don't have to drink with any 13 year old. My 31 year old girlfriend is young enough for me.
