They’re on the dole — and watching the pole.

Welfare recipients took out cash at bars, liquor stores, X-rated video shops, hookah parlors and even strip clubs — where they presumably spent their taxpayer money on lap dances rather than diapers, a Post investigation found.

A database of 200 million Electronic Benefit Transfer records from January 2011 to July 2012, obtained by The Post through a Freedom of Information request, showed welfare recipients using their EBT cards to make dozens of cash withdrawals at ATMs inside Hank’s Saloon in Brooklyn; the Blue Door Video porn shop in the East Village; The Anchor, a sleek SoHo lounge; the Patriot Saloon in TriBeCa; and Drinks Galore, a liquor distributor in The Bronx.

Why do people have to be soooooo mean? This people need money for this type of thing just like you do. We should increase their benefits. Better then working.

I believe all strip clubs and even most bars should be placed in business parks not in neighborhoods, Many are right in residential neighborhoods zoned for business . This is wrong , I saw many kids walking home from school right by this slash strip bard, The lady dancers would stand outside smoking ciggs and weed, as the kids walked by, The dancers would be in their pasties and g -strings door wide open. Then the characters that go to those strip clubs and hang in the parking lots about a half a block from grade school.I ask why don't the city council move all of them to a business park setting only. You won't see a corner bar on every corner in Carmel or Westfield . Yet here in inner Indianapolis neighborhoods , They are on almost every corner.Should young kids have to step over drunks and broken glass and needles? Should they have to watch a pimp slap his hooker dancer gf around as they walk home from school? I'm not against those business's operating , It's where they are allowed to set up shop that bugs me.

This might be good to help to help parents teach their kids to drink. It seems today that it is the same thing that the kids learn at home. Just watch the comments on the Star on what they comment on the police busting underage drinking at colleges. Now join the rush and have a drink.(Just don't smoke)

You can thank Andre Carson for the deterioration of urban areas in Central Indianapolis. His livelihood depends on keeping the urban citizens drunk and oblivious to reality as much as possible. The only way he can win an election is through voter ineptitude, so these types of establishments are actually a necessity for his political career. The worse off blacks are, the more likely they will vote democrat.

The deterioration of urban areas in Central Indianapolis is largely due to large employers leaving the area due to lack of demand or deregulation. Chrysler, Western Electric and International Harvester supplied jobs to people living in urban areas of Indianapolis and either closed plants or significantly reduced their workforce long before Andre Carson was in office.

Mr. Carson represents mostly working people who do not believe his opposition's ideas to be in their best interest. I've yet to see responsible polling data that supports the contention that his supporters are inept. Neither am I aware of any efforts on Mr. Carson's part "keeping the urban citizens drunk".

I agree with most everything you said, except for the part about Mr. Carson representing "working people".

You won't find this written in newspapers. You have to think for yourself and look at the facts of his district.

Of course you won't find this crap in newspapers. You like to fabricate and promote a racist agenda.

Talking about racist, we are told today that we are not to see black or white. Just the person. Then why does the news media have to put up a story about the first black in any story? Does being black make the story? Just like the first black President. They are quick to point out the persons race.

I believe this started shortly after strip clubs installed ATMs inside. Both F/s and TANF cash are accessed via ATM cards, so you can virtually walk into a strip club and use their ATM to get cash from your monthly allottment.
I just don't think it's a good idea to use the strip club atm to do it. And I don't think it's a good idea to spend your TANF money in a strip club.

But then again, I"m hopelessly oldfashioned. Here.... let me get back to work now so I can pay MY taxes, so that YOU don't have to.....
