Our Gov is going to let the oil companies screw us and make them money
from the oil stock.
call 877-331-1223 it will get you to any Senator or Rep in Wash D. C.
Tell them what you think.
the more people we open our arms to
come into this country the less we
have. Better wake up people.

Gee, you'd think that our president could do something to help us out since he's an oil man himself, but I guess he's too busy helping himself out. Meanwhile our vp in busy reaping wealth rebuilding Iraq.

If you believe the law of supply and demand (I know - it is easier to believe that the incompentent George Bush who can't think his way our of a paper bag can pull off a global price manipulation scheme)- you understand that one of the bottlenecks is refining capability and capacity.

Part of the problem is that no new refineries have been built in 20 odd years. Allow more refineries to be built and that will ease the price swings.

These threads always crack me up. Everyone is looking for someone to blame but themselves. Meanwhile, these same people are driving 10mpg SUVs and wondering why gas prices are so high. Gee, ya think maybe because demand is up? Ya know, when the country needs a LOT MORE gas because tens of millions of people drive gas guzzling pickups and SUVs, the demand goes up, which drives price up. So how about taking a look in the mirror and realizing that your wasteful ways are the reason prices keep going up? If every 10-15mpg SUV was replaced with a 30mpg car, what do you think would happen to demand? It would crash, and so would prices.

Oh, but wait..it's eaiser to blame Bush, oil companies, refineries, etc...

What Arab leader sneezed wrong? It seems like everytime anyting happens, the foreign investors decide that it is going to affect the oil prices.

It seems odd a few people sitting on foreign soil can dictate to the world the price of oil and they aren't even in the Arab world, the contributor of oil.

Nobody is going to build new refineries. Then they couldn't screw the consumer as much. No, wait, they would just find some other excuse as to why they can't do something to keep our oil and gas prices a little more consistent. As for Indy, we are probably paying the price for having events like the Indy 500. With the amount of out of state traffic, gas station owners are like everyone else, hotel owners, etc. - fleece the visitors. Sadly, they screw us at the same time. Of course, they call it the law of supply and demand.

I'm with all you guys as soon as Bush gets out the gas should go down at least two bucks a gal. The sun will shine longer each day and the nights will be cool so we can sleep with out running are air, but it wouldn't matter any way because i'm sure the price of electity will also go down.
I really never knew how power full one man could be, why after reading these comments he's more power full than GOD himself. How much longer do we have to wait for all our prays to be answered?
