It was an amazing turn out at the showing tonight. For those "strangers" these children were loved so much that over a thousand people showed up tonight! There was a line that I personally stood in for an hour and 45 minutes just to get to see them and their families. These are real people with real feelings. This is a time that words should be chosen carefully. Peace is the goal for these families and friends to have as much as possible. Please be considerate. It was a sight to see. I have never seen anything like it except maybe a celebrity event on tv. They were and are truly loved. Many of the floral arrangements and cards including care and concern for Amir as well. And yes, many of the teens and even some adults wore their t-shirts with their pictures and date with pride. I know this brought much comfort to the mothers, fathers and families of these young children. Rest in peace sweet boys Justin and Cody. You must be smiling as you see all the love and respect there was tonight. Side by side.

I didnít really know any of them personally but I did have classes with them and I have seen them in the halls at school. I do know they were very cool and in no way deserved this. Even as I write this there is a boy in the hospital having to contemplate what he has done. To me that has got to be the worst injury he sustained from all this. I hope he recovers both mentally and physically very soon. To the family of the two unfortunates who have passed on my thought are with you and hope in time you can move on.

I would also like to make one more point. I havenít read through all the comments but I know that there are those Bible thumping Bettyís and people who are suck up and rude who leave comments blaming the parents and the kids and whatever decision they made whether itís about giving Amir the car or letting the other kids ride in it. I would like to say that it is none of your business or mine. The fact is that this is an accident and the families and friends of these boys donít need your negative BS. You people should be ashamed of your selves and you all disgust me.

This happens way too often. Please, don't drink and drive. It is not worth it.

My experiences with Justin aren't as positive as everyone else on this page....but this news was absolutely gut wrenching. No person or family deserves for something so tragic to happen. I can't hardly imagine the grief that the families are experiencing and my heart goes out to them. No matter what the facts are, this is horrific.

I would strongly recommend that anyone reading this page seeking comfort - log off now, as this is a public forum and you can not force anyone to understand or feel your pain.

Seek a healthy environment for grieving.

My prayers are with the families and those that grieve this horrific loss.

This has nothing to do with drinking and driving. Read the story. But it does happen all too often. These families and friends need to grieve now. I hope they are doing so - in a healthy state.

STOP IT! THE DRIVER IS ONE OF MY FRIENDS, AND I DONT APPRECIATE HOW YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT HIM LIKE THAT. SO I PLEASE ASK YOU TO STOP. BESIDES WHERE IS YOUR HEART? A BLACK HOLE?
I am sorry that the Grim Creep was hurtful to you. When I saw your post, I read back to find the obnoxious comments and apparently they have been deleted, but unfortunately when others quote him they keep coming back: good riddance to bad news, I say. Folks, perhaps you could admonish this Creep without the quotes so we can stop spewing this crap any further. How about it?

Sorry but no accident... The driver made the decision to drive at a high rate of speed. The result is unfortunate but many of these posts are indicating as if the event just occured for no apparent reason. The outcome is very sad and unfortunately we will continue to read about similar stories time after time. We should not expect a 16 year old to be responsible for themselves or others so why allow them this responsibility behind the wheel of car. I'm sorry that parents are too busy to drive their children to events and that teenagers would cry and carry on about having to wait until they are 18 to drive but you know what, too bad.
I agree it wasn't an accident in the usual sense of the word, but it was in the fact that this young driver never intended this to happen
and that it did because, as they say, all of the conditions were there to allow it to. Of course this was not intentional, and therefore in that sense it was accidental. Regardless, it was a TRAGEDY. Start honoring THAT instead of pointing the finger when it will not bring anybody back. We all know it was a bad choice, that he is ultimately responsible, and so does he.

u no what....it was NOBODYIES fault i dont understand why people keep tryen to point their fingers at ppl...these things happen they could happen to anybody....do u ppl actually think amir left the house with his BEST friends thinking he was going to kill them? come on...it was way more than a tragedy....u cant even put a word for something like this....but if u cant see any of that then u have no reason to be putting any kind of comment on here....let their family grieve....they have to deal with losing their son, brother, cousin, grandchild, boyf riend....everyday..and all some of u ppl can do is argue whose fault it is...ppl like you siese to amaze me....
