I would rather hear a dog bark than hear most people talk! The more I'm around people, the more I love dogs!

Barking dogs are no joke. Shock collars are for people that can't train a dog. If you can't train a dog properly, you shouldn't own one.

People they did not have shock collars back then. See we love to lie. And if we tell it enough people will believe it. Our idle Adolph Hitler said so. That is why we lie all the time.

There are dog that bark a little and the dogs that will not stop! A barking dog has a reason to bark and it is just part of their nature. To train the dog is very hard since the pet owner has no clue why the dog barks in the first place. Also, some dogs will not listen like a kids. I know of a dog that will bark all day at nothing. The owner trys EVERYTHING! There are times that the dog needs to go in the backyard and the owner cannot be with the dog so the bark collar has to be on. The dog knows when the collar is on and will not bark since it was shocked in the past. There are different levels of shocks so the dog will only feel a slight shock to a jolt depending on the level. It is best to start on the lowest level and increase if needed. The interesting part here, the dog has the collar off inside the house and if the dog is outside it knows the difference. The collar can be off and the dog will know to bark while outside. Nobody would wear a bark collar themselves, but as humans we know when to stop talking or tone down our voices but a dog has no clue. When the owner is away the dog barks so this is the need to keep peace for a community if the dog loves to outside after being cooped up. I know I will get comments, but please think about it, because you have to walk in someones shoes to know the difference. Neighbors call the police, tell the HOA...Also, not everyone can afford the dog whisper.

I'm the original poster. I have no idea how this post went so far off topic nor do I have any idea why the post above this one is trying to be me or thank people on my behalf.(Thank you incidentally) but after a long talk at noon with the HOA we are only looking into the shock collars. I cannot risk being kicked out of my neighborhood over this damn dog. Sorry I even brought it up. You people need help.
Do what your heart tells you! You know your dog best and a shock collar could work wonders to please everyone! Everyone has their own opinions but have not walked in your shoes. I have a friend that has the shock collar that is a saving grace for peace. The dog is 13 years old and still likes to bark since it was a puppy and the dog has yet to act like it is abused. It is loved and it knows it. good luck!
